A strange cat has just climbed into my bedroom

I'm in bed happily reading my book and a cat has just climbed through the window and settled down on my feet.
Neither of our neighbours have a cat. I have no idea where it's from.
It's a very pretty cat so I think I will let it stay, at least until dh comes up and throws it out.

We've had a cat from over the road coming round for over a year. He first came to play with Ernie now he's best buddies with Colin

I bought a camera and caught them in bed together. He has commandeered a drawer under the bed to sleep in

@Waitingfirgodot

We have a day cat (acquired in a perfectly normal manner) and a night cat, who hangs out downstairs when he thinks everyone is in bed. Occassionally he times it wrong and looks most put out to find people in his house.
This is what we have. He's a Maine Coon cross we've named Gus. He only appears at night. Sometimes we'll spot him walking around the hallway/landing/living room. He never sits down - just walks round as if to say, 'This is my gaff now'.

I'll dig out a photo.
