We’ve just had the mother of thunderstorms!

bloodyhell, haven’t experienced one that ferocious for years! Terribly loud thunder, the type that shakes your home. Flash flooding too in some areas.

But now we’ve got sunshine and warmth again🙂

33 deg in Berkshire for the last 2 days and looking like the next few days too. I’ve already melted 🥵

I’ll take the heatwave. It’s been 21 and overcast in Somerset today. Not a whisper of the sun or heat.

We’re due one at 3am tomorrow. I hope it’s a big loud one that wakes me up. Love feeling cosy in bed listening to the thunder and rain.

Mind you, a heavy downpour last week left our car filthy, it must have picked up sand from somewhere. Maybe it will get cleaned tonight 😀

It’s like a hot bath out here.
I don’t have any ice lollies but I do have ice cubes and gin ( several varieties) and tonic so may be forced into a Bathtub and Fevertree!

Sorry, meant to say I have been watching the thunderstorm map praying it comes our way but also a little nervous as we have a 5 month old puppy and don’t know how he will react.

We've just had one in Worcestershire. Lots of thunder and sudden downpour but now sunny again.

We haven't in our bit. We can see the storm clouds but no actual storm, it's blue skies and sunshine here and I'm still in the garden!

Nothing in my bit of Gloucestershire yet although it's cloudy now. Can't wait! 😊
