We’ve just had the mother of thunderstorms!

bloodyhell, haven’t experienced one that ferocious for years! Terribly loud thunder, the type that shakes your home. Flash flooding too in some areas.

But now we’ve got sunshine and warmth again🙂

Not yet, we are due them and in middle of having roof rethatched.

I'd love one, send it my way! But if you could wait an hour or so as we're just about to walk to the beach for a swim, that'd be lovely!

We had horrific thunder and lightning , about 2 ish
9 power cuts !

They've only just started on our thatch Its and thunder due on Thurs / Fri but I presume / hope they can work round it. I'm very glad its getting done now as it got postponed by lockdown and was said to be urgent then - at least it should get done now by end of the month and before another lockdown.

Hope it cools the temp here, its sweltering.

Not a sausage here and it’s baking - 34 degrees. All my lovely new box balls are frying to a crisp . I was prepared for caterpillars or blight, but not scorching. 🔥

@TFSRM - I’m in south-east Kidderminster and we didn’t get any thunder or rain at 5.30! My colleague is more west side and she had rain around 1pm but it was dry our side at the time - bizarre

I'm in Shrewsbury and the thunderstorm was awesome! We sat in the hot tub and watched it all. Apparently it's the same here all week!
