The DH wants to watch a 2010 film called rubber, it's about a tyre that goes on a murder rampage.
Wtaf....... Shall I divorce him or torture him by getting him to watch something even more bizarre?

The Shape Of Water redefines the term Emperor's New Clothes and creates a new category unto itself, with people falling over themselves to find meaning in absolute nonsense.

TheMurk · 18/07/2020 23:37

The Favourite.

SamSeabornforPresident · 18/07/2020 23:37

@abstractzebra

Mama Mia! Just accidentally saw a bit of it tonight as I was going to bed. It makes me cringe and even the best actors seem terrible in it Confused
Yes. This too. It was toe-curlingly awful. I cringe just thinking about it.
monkeyonthetable · 18/07/2020 23:42

Sex and the City - I actually felt angry sitting in the cinema, I was so bored. I hadn't wanted to go and was badgered by friends. I hate how women are depicted as being obsessed with nothing but nabbing a man - any man, and inane shoe conversations. Painfully vapid.

sweetheartyparty · 18/07/2020 23:42

I hated inglorious basterds. Awful characters and truly awful story. It was just nasty

puffylovett · 18/07/2020 23:42

The human centipede 🤮

thatonesmine · 18/07/2020 23:44

Danger Diabolik. This is one for the "so bad it's good" category. Classic 60s nonsense with an AMAZING night club scene.

Gooseygoosey12345 · 18/07/2020 23:44

The Box. Oh it's so bad! It has Sandra Bullock in it. It's like they filmed the first half of one film, then the second half of another film, and decided to chuck them together. I would urge you all to watch it so you can see the terribleness but you honestly don't want to waste your time

WhenPushComesToShove · 18/07/2020 23:52

Eyes Wide Shut
Lost in Translation
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
Ex Machina

Timeforredwine · 18/07/2020 23:56

Marley & me!!!!!

Walkon · 18/07/2020 23:58

Robin Hood Men in Tights....so fucking crap!!

BackforGood · 18/07/2020 23:59

La La Land if you are including films I couldn't sit through to the end of
Am amazed we got to P3 of this thread before it was mentioned.

GarlicSoup · 18/07/2020 23:59

'A Nightmare Before Christmas' People were walking out of the cinema.

Sidge · 18/07/2020 23:59

Bring Out The Dead with Nicolas Cage.

I can’t bear him anyway but this was about two hours of Fuck All Happening.

MashedSpud · 19/07/2020 00:01

“I am the pretty thing that lives in the house”.

Boring, not scary and for some reason she does things in slow motion like she’s in space. Tedious.

golddustwomen · 19/07/2020 00:02

I loved The Shape of Water!!

This has been mentioned a couple of times on this thread but Eyes Wide Shut - only watched it for the first time the other day but Christ almighty, what a steaming pile of shit!!!

IdblowJonSnow · 19/07/2020 00:02

Ha ha, I like quite a few listed on here! Loved Vanilla Sky when it came out! Probably not so much now...
I walked out of Reservoir Dogs which is perhaps controversial. I have enjoyed other Tarantino films, but can't abide that one.

Dreamingofaholidayyy · 19/07/2020 00:03

Carpet fitters vs cannibals

Yes you read that right and the title explains the film. Honestly the worst thing iv ever seen.

verypeckish · 19/07/2020 00:04

For me it's a toss-up between Happy Feet and Black Swan. Both staggeringly abysmal in their own unique ways.

Crinkle77 · 19/07/2020 00:05

Absolute Beginners was absolutely awful.

Anxietyqueen1987 · 19/07/2020 00:12

@ArriettyJones I second the room - It is hilariously bad. Although, saying that, I've been to a Q&A with Tommy Wiseau and have watched it several times in the cinema for some reason. Definitely a "cult classic"

TooGood2BeTrue · 19/07/2020 00:44

Inland Empire
Murder on the Orient Express (2017)
Mimicry
Twilight (my husband managed to get a refund for this shite from the box office arguing with them that we had expected a horror movie 😂 )
most action movies; I just can't stand them!

stayathomer · 19/07/2020 00:47

Sex and the City 2.Worst.film.ever. I came on to say exactly this. Oh and John Wicks- its Die hard without character, jokes or a storyline. And Juno, most annoying characters ever!! I'll stop now.

cricketmum84 · 19/07/2020 00:48

Avalanche shark 😂

PunkAssMoFo · 19/07/2020 00:48

Fans of sharknado might want to check out Zombeavers or Cockneys vs Zombies.
