The DH wants to watch a 2010 film called rubber, it's about a tyre that goes on a murder rampage.
Wtaf....... Shall I divorce him or torture him by getting him to watch something even more bizarre?

Rubber sounds right in the ‘so bad it’s good’ category. I may have to look out for it! (Top of this category is obviously Demons, which is sooo bad it’s freaking awesome. Laughed until I cried)

Worst film I’ve ever seen is a toss up between The Talented Mr Ripley and Love Actually. The first bored me to sleep, and the second had me trying to learn a second language rather than watch it.

I’ve got somewhat debatable taste though Blush

Rosapilosa · 18/07/2020 23:05

The Happening.

I will never get that time back.

Gin4thewin · 18/07/2020 23:06

Drag me to hell, its supposed to be a horror but it was so bad i thought it was a piss take comedy the whole way through

HandsOffMyRights · 18/07/2020 23:06

@Wincarnis

La La Land Mulholland Drive Bridget Jones Diary Fifty shades of shite
Mullholland is cited by so many as a work of genuis. My father's favourite film. I've watched it a few times but I just can't connect to it.
flight2020 · 18/07/2020 23:07

Les miserables
Only managed about 10 mins - dreadful

CatToddlerUprising · 18/07/2020 23:14

Hancock. What a load of shite

InappropriateFire · 18/07/2020 23:15

I'm sorry all of you but it has to be Evolution with David Duchovny. It's hard to describe how bad it is. And I've sat through that Sponge Bob Square Pants thing with Antonio Banderas.

InappropriateFire · 18/07/2020 23:16

I've been dying to see The Shape of Water. People have tears in their eyes when they talk about it. Interesting to hear it slated. I shall definitely keep an open mind ...

bringbacksideburns · 18/07/2020 23:18

Velvet Goldmine.

Awful!

Onynx · 18/07/2020 23:19

Hanna with Saoirse Ronan. Horrific. There were clowns and chases through a dark wood etc

Clevererthanyou · 18/07/2020 23:19

Spiderman (all of them) I waited for a massive bug swatter to put ME out of my bloody misery.

Mycatismadeofstringcheese · 18/07/2020 23:21

Poltergay:

Marc and Emma move into a new house, but they have no idea that their basement used to be a nightclub. To make matters worse, the club was destroyed by fire, and now the house is haunted by the ghosts of five gay clubbers. In French.

Back in the 80s 'basket case' . A 'thriller' about a blob creature that a man kept in a wicker basket. It had no arms or legs and slithered about, killing people. Turns out it was the sibling of the main character and they'd been surgically separated at birth. The Shiftiest film ever with the worst special effects.

Either that or 'the lighthouse' we watched a couple of weeks back. All wanking over mermaids (who had giant labia ??) and all done in black and white. Indescribably bad. It will win tons of awards. Grin

cushioncovers · 18/07/2020 23:25

Mama Mia

GinWithASplashOfTonic · 18/07/2020 23:30

Love wrecked- went one rainy afternoon. Only movie I've ever considered walking out on. It's dreadful

@lightlypoached Basket Case is hilarious Grin I made a really shite cake once and DH said it looked like the evil twin from Basket Case.

Flowers in the Attic is one that’s so bad it’s brilliant. The dialogue is incredible- “Fathers die! Even when they’re young and handsome!” “I have to go to the bathroom. BE SILENT. LEARN CONTROL.” Grin

EineReiseDurchDieZeit · 18/07/2020 23:32

The Lighthouse
Roma
The Shape Of Water

sqirrelfriends · 18/07/2020 23:32

The dilemma - the most boring film ever, apparently it's a comedy.

The greatest showman - just awful, never got the hype and it gives me the rage everything I have to hear one of its songs.

Buttybach · 18/07/2020 23:33

The Tom green movie
Freddie got fingered

JessCat75 · 18/07/2020 23:33

That stupid Sherlock Holmes one with Will Ferrell, usually I love him in anything but that was dire.

EineReiseDurchDieZeit · 18/07/2020 23:33

@mumsiedarlingrevolta

Yay! There are two of us! HATED Hot Fuzz and every fucker raves about it

Wasail · 18/07/2020 23:33

Snakes on a plane was pretty awful.

Slither was in the so bad it’s just about unbearable category

HollyBen · 18/07/2020 23:35

Thelma and Louise. Admittedly I was young and probably didn't really get it but there are so many better things I could have done with that couple of hours of my lufe

SamSeabornforPresident · 18/07/2020 23:35

@AntiSocialDistancer

Vanilla Sky. Beyond dreadful.
Yes!! That was going to be my reply too. I considered asking my then bf for the car keys and going to sit in the car and read my book instead.
QuestionableMouse · 18/07/2020 23:35

Into the Wild.

I was bored and uncomfortable at the same time. Not good.
