The DH wants to watch a 2010 film called rubber, it's about a tyre that goes on a murder rampage.
Wtaf....... Shall I divorce him or torture him by getting him to watch something even more bizarre?

OP posts:

oh and human centipede
You cannot lift three people up single handed without all the stitches ripping.

tectonicplates · 18/07/2020 22:08

The Day After Tomorrow. Atrociously bad film.

Samcro · 18/07/2020 22:09

Im watching a film called torque at the moment.
I wonder who thought. I want to be in the film...looking at you ICe CUbe.

mumsiedarlingrevolta · 18/07/2020 22:09

Hot Fuzz.
I know my opinion will be unpopular but there you go.

I absolutely thought it was completely unredeemable rubbish and I hated every not funny moment

My DH (and DC later) think it is hilarious

No accounting for taste

ArriettyJones · 18/07/2020 22:11

The Room with Tommy Wiseau, so cringeworthily awful that it became a cult classic. Every couple of years we get together with booze & takeaway and watch it in a double bill with The Disaster Artist which a film about its production. Highly recommended.

OohKittens · 18/07/2020 22:11

Howard the duck. Honestly awful, I put this on for the kids and it was so bad. At one point a woman nearly has sex with the duck. No idea how this is a PG Confused

abstractzebra · 18/07/2020 22:12

Mama Mia!
Just accidentally saw a bit of it tonight as I was going to bed.
It makes me cringe and even the best actors seem terrible in it Confused

OohKittens · 18/07/2020 22:13

@ArriettyJones I've seen the disaster artist and it was fascinating, I need to see the room.

AConvivialHost · 18/07/2020 22:14

A.I...bloody hell it was dire.

I've just mentioned 'Rubber' to my film nerd of a husband. He has watched it and said it was 'Ace'. He's just shown me the trailer, which was quite amusing - I think I'd give it a go

Fishfingersandwichplease · 18/07/2020 22:14

The Dish. And The Blair Witch Project

KatherineJaneway · 18/07/2020 22:14

Mousehunt

Truly awful

HotFlowers · 18/07/2020 22:14

Happy feet.... paid to see that at the cinema... dreadful

Timeforsinging81 · 18/07/2020 22:16

The Hole. I'm fairly sure it has a young Keira knightly in it. It was a 15 when I saw it in the cinema but I think it's been reclassified as an 18 since. Awful film.

Thegreymethod · 18/07/2020 22:16

@SallyCinnamon3009

Butterfly Effect hated every minute
Omg I loved the butterfly effect! We've re watched it loads! Love your name! I'm a huge SR fan! Mine is me before you.......... adored all the books and love Emilia Clarke but tried to watch the movie a few times and can't get past the first half hour.
Slanabhaile · 18/07/2020 22:16

@NickMyLipple

I watched The Story Of Fire Saga (the Eurovision film) and it was absolutely shite 😂
I'm watching it right now, and am loving it! The song-a-long scene is fantastic!
Gymbelle · 18/07/2020 22:18

Cats! (I went to the cinema and had to walk out)

Thegreymethod · 18/07/2020 22:18

Oh yes mama Mia too. Awful!!

ArriettyJones · 18/07/2020 22:19

Do it, it’s hilarious. Smile Although, actually, the scenes they recreate in The Disaster Artist are eerily accurate, so you’ve already seen some of it.

Otterseatpuffinsdontthey · 18/07/2020 22:21

The Shape of Water. Watched about 15 minutes - thinking it HAD to get better. Nope!

ilovepuggies · 18/07/2020 22:22

The tree of life

UnfinishedSymphon · 18/07/2020 22:29

I've seen Rubber, the tyre is called Robert.

Chickenkatsu · 18/07/2020 22:30

Men in Black 2

PinkyBrain · 18/07/2020 22:30

Avatar. Three hours of my life I immediately wanted back. I really didn’t care how great the special effects were for 2000 and whatever. Gin

catbellz · 18/07/2020 22:33

Sharknado.

chomalungma · 18/07/2020 22:37

Left Behind

Starring Nicholas Cage.

Half the world population vanish because of the rapture. Leaving the rest behind. Including Nicholas Cage as a pilot who has to save a plane. It's really really bad. But so bad it has to be seen.
