I would like to be present when the priest says his final confession. He apparently has said "There are things he would like to tell and can’t, therefore refuses to speak of it at all so as not to be tempted into letting out more than he should."

Would Portuguese law have the power to force a priest to divulge information? As a Catholic country I'm assuming not.

If a priest hears someone confess something that is illegal they are bound by the law to report... However I think there may be something that protects the identity... I remember 20 years ago someone in my city confesses to purposely sleeping with women while he had hiv. The priest reported that someone was doing that but I don't think said more.. It is perhaps rightly changed since then.

The story that’s come out today (?) of another allotment house, much closer to Braunschweig, looks and sounds much more like a “garden colony”, & supposedly CB dug out his own cellar there?
