I have no friends

Just that really. I have realised during lockdown I have no-one to talk to.
My old friends have either lost contact with me or don't seem to want to know (I always reach out to them and they don't seem interested in maintaining a friendship).
I don't know if it's me. I used to have friends but none of them seemed interested in maintaining the friendship (after eg university) when it was no longer convenient.
I don't know why I'm posting this really, I'm feeling pretty low about it right now.

I’m in the same boat. Thought I had some friends at work but I had to shield and by the end of the first month everyone just stopped contacting me. I tried to keep it going but got no response so gave up. Doesn’t help I’m single and own my house rather than still living with parents.
I spend my days just watching tv especially as am back shielding again. My phone just is a tool to surf the web.
I’d like the group link if anyone is willing to share it. Just so tired of being totally alone.

Great! I think whoever starts it only has to have one other number on it. Then you could create a link then we could post it and anyone could join who wants to. Simples 🤔 Happy to start it tomorrow once I work out how to set up the link 😬

@16Glj00711 sounds good! WhatsApp is better for me as I don't use Facebook.

Im also feeling same. I literally have joined groups with my son but never make any friends. I am quite shy but I try and nothing comes from it!
Id love to have a few friends I can chat to and have a walk and a natter, glass of wine. All my friends moved away or abroad or just dropped me. Makes me feel rubbish and quite sad if honest.

How do you all manage feeling like this as I do get quite upset often when I ask my partner he says but your so kind and caring I dont actually understand. How do people keep their friends and have an amazing socail life?
