It just confirms that the majority of this country are racist, sexist and homophobic.

Where to start.... Brexit, more cuts to services, schools, NHS, NI.....

It will be fine. Life as we know it will carry on. Some may find it better, some may find it worse. Some will achieve greatness, some won't. In other words, it will be business as usual and we'll get on with it as we always have.

Of course it will be ok.

This is the problem with living in a Labour echo chamber where opposing views are not allowed. You actually start to believe the ‘all Tories are murdering racist bastards who are going to sell the NHS and we’ll have to start paying for inhalers LIKE TOMORROW’ line. And then there’s this shock that actually, you’re in the minority.

A JC Labour government would have been a total disaster for the country. The majority of the country saw that. Not everyone who voted Tory can be a ‘thick racist cunt.’

The Conservatives have stated clearly and unequivocally, many times, that the NHS is not, nor will it ever be, for sale. This isn’t something they’re a bit cagey or evasive about, they’ve been very clear.

I think a few posters on here need to just step back and breathe a bit.

And some of us worry for those who are already struggling and it will get worse. If you don’t give a toss about other people and their circumstances you are right to crack on with your BAU

Be sensible- many new Cons seats will only stay Cons seats if the Gov invests in areas other than London. If they don't they will lose the seat at the next election. We are, hopefully , going to see some changes and a kick up the derrière for the NHS.

It's not going to be ok for most of us and that's the harsh reality.

It will be more than ok, more nurses and funding for the nhs, mental health, police, education, etc and the end of austerity,

For many people it literally won’t carry on - people fail to realise this. It’s not carrying on for my mother, who could have survived had the NHS done their job properly. It’s not carrying on for those disabled people who’ve committed suicide after being found fit to work.

ODFOD. I’m battling against this system for my disabled children every day. I regularly see others stories that are absolutely heartbreaking about their similar but even worse fights. Breathe a bit?

I think labour supporters are struggling to understand how Tory voters could vote for a party with a sexist, racist, homophobic liar for a leader. I personally feel that voting Tory is condoning Boris Johnson's behaviour and that's just not on.

Possibly. But it was more a vote against labour, literally the lesser of two evils, because the majority of people couldn't vote for Corbyn, his behaviour, momentum and the incredibly damaging mad socialist hard left policies being touted.

So it was less a vote for Boris, it was a vote against Corbyn, momentum, labour and the risk they posed to the country.

Yes, what exactly are you scared of? What Tory polices have indicated to you that you will “suffer”

It really won't be ok for my single mum friend who struggles with her MH, who has already had her benefits stopped on several occasions for truly minor transgressions such as not stating her working hours on time (she didn't know them). She is living on a knife edge day to day, never knowing whether DWP will pay what she's entitled to. She will most definitely not be ok. And her daughter will be pushed ever further below the poverty line.

Why wouldn’t anyone believe the word of a proven liar Boris Johnson? All he know is to lie and lie and lie and lie.

I think it came down to a choice between BJ and JC and BJ won. I hate him but I can see why.

If only David Milliband had won the leadership ahead of his donkey of a brother.
