It's on Netflix and it's called A Simple Favour

Anna Kendrick plays "Mom Stereotype"

Blake Lively plays "Mysterious Woman Stereotype"

Henry Golding plays "Wooden Husband"

Appalling dialogue and acting

Weird incest subplot

Recommended for purposes of mockery.

Wow even worse than Lawnmower Man!

Mopmum35 · 28/11/2019 23:21

Omg I started to watch that! Fucked it off in the end about 30 mins into it, it was terrible.

SomeHalfHumanCreatureThing · 28/11/2019 23:22

Hahaha, yeah.. Its weirdly terrible

SomeHalfHumanCreatureThing · 28/11/2019 23:22

Bridesmaids was way worse though

VanyaHargreeves · 28/11/2019 23:22

I watched it all the way through, to be honest, you missed out, it was vaguely plausible in the first 30 minutes.

The ending was like an absolute comedy fail... it was so weird.
What a waste of Kendrick!!

VanyaHargreeves · 28/11/2019 23:24

The same director also Last Christmas, I hear this is also dreadful, how does he keep making films?!

Boots20 · 28/11/2019 23:24

Bridesmaids is hilarious come on.... the plane scene

JarethTheGoblinKing · 28/11/2019 23:25

Nope. I was so furious with how terrible Bridesmaids was I offered it on here for free. Just to get it out of my house.

MiniMum97 · 28/11/2019 23:26

I liked Bridesmaids. Watched Cold Pursuit at the weekend. Fucking terrible film. It was like it was trying to be a Quentin Tarantino film but failing really badly.

VanyaHargreeves · 28/11/2019 23:26

I actually don't mind Bridesmaids, I like several characters

MrJollyLivesNextDoor · 28/11/2019 23:28

I will see your Bridesmaids etc

And raise you: AI

Worst film ever

Faez · 28/11/2019 23:29

Bridesmaids was pretty bad, thought it was just me

SomeHalfHumanCreatureThing · 28/11/2019 23:30

A Simple Favour was so terrible though. I love both the main leads so watched it all the way through, but good god.

I watched something with Olivia Wilde yesterday that was a similar level of crapola. Vigilante?

JarethTheGoblinKing · 28/11/2019 23:31

Bridesmaids was pretty bad, thought it was just me

It's just not funny.

TheUnquestionedAnswer · 28/11/2019 23:33

Eat Pray Love. Don't even bother to watch it. Grim.

VanyaHargreeves · 28/11/2019 23:33

I mean this is an actual conversation in the film, she isn't certain if her dead husband or dead brother is the father of her child, but this is OK because he was only a half brother 🤮

VanyaHargreeves · 28/11/2019 23:34

I've seen Eat, Pray, Love

Vomit inducing

SomeHalfHumanCreatureThing · 28/11/2019 23:35

And she does all her worrying about her batshit friend via some crazy YouTube channel. While sleeping with missing friends husband. And basically stealing her house.

KnickerBockerAndrew · 28/11/2019 23:36

Bridesmaids is ace. The worst film in the history of the world is Love Actually. It actually makes me furious. I hate everyone in it and everything they do.

VanyaHargreeves · 28/11/2019 23:36

But the invisible hiding dead wife is able to perfectly reorganise an extensive closet, during a short musical montage

SomeHalfHumanCreatureThing · 28/11/2019 23:37

"But the invisible hiding dead wife is able to perfectly reorganise an extensive closet, during a short musical Montague"

Well of course, Blake Lively seems like she would be capable of this.

123rd · 28/11/2019 23:38

I heard Last Christmas was really really bad. Th ask for the heads up

Dowser · 28/11/2019 23:38

Eat pray love

SomeHalfHumanCreatureThing · 28/11/2019 23:38
