Are there any singers/actors/tv presenters whose continued success you find utterly baffling?

I’m just watching TOTP from 1988 and Kim Wilde’s on.

I’m sure she’s a lovely woman, but fuck me, the lass couldn’t sing. Or dance. Or mime.
And yet, she’s still doing the rounds, all these decades later.

It does amaze me that people who can’t actually sing make a living as singers. Auto tune etc. I’d be a bag of nerves every time I went on stage.

I agree about Lorraine Kelly. A woman of almost 60 talking and acting like a ditsy young girl baffles me. I just don't understand her appeal or longevity.

Tess Daly and Lorraine Kelly must know where the bodies are buried or something, as there is no explanantion as to why they are still on the TV.
