I'm a fully grown, adult, professional, competent, mature woman but....

... I fucking love stickers.

I recently bought these and they're stuck all over my professional work diary. They make me so happy Grin

I also love a hot orange squash. My mother started giving me hot orange squash to warm me up when I got home from nursery in the winter. I have had a hot orange squash every single day as my "just got home" drink ever since then.

Tell me all of the ways you're an adult competent woman but still basically four years old....

I still love 'sucky sweets' and baked bananas.... Also, now I come to think of it, lots of nursery puddings!

FadedRed · 02/09/2019 11:01

An ‘egg in a cup’.

GoldPaperStars · 02/09/2019 11:03

Oh I bloody LOVE a sticker! My DH regularly buys me Paperchase ones on my birthday.

I get really excited when I see animals when I’m out. I always have to point them out (currently pregnant with my first DC so am on track to look less crazy soon as I can pretend I’m pointing them out to him...).

Shockers · 02/09/2019 11:03

I used to wish my teddies were alive. My cat sleeps with me every night and I cuddle him like a teddy. It’s like my wildest dream actually came true!

DH is less impressed with the situation.

sheshootssheimplores · 02/09/2019 11:07

I love stickers too! I use them to decorate greetings cards and Christmas stuff. Have a drawer full of them. I’m known to get quite cross with the kids and their sticker books if they don’t fill them in properly 🥴

IhaveALooBrush · 02/09/2019 11:08

I still buy dip dabs and sherbet fountains, and I bloody love them.
I get as excited by theme parks as dd (6)
I crave hot ribena when I have a cold.
I stroke all the doggies I walk past. I love them.

EvilHerbivore · 02/09/2019 11:09

I love sweeties - the pick and mix type

WhiteJoshsBiceps · 02/09/2019 11:14

I'm so glad there are other sticker weirdos around Grin

I also love sweets. If I'm in town I'll stop by WHSmith and get a bucket bag of pick 'n' mix for myself. I used to be a bit embarrassed and think "I can just tell people they're for my non-existent child" but now I DGAF, they're for me, all mine!!

I have a dog. I love it when people without dogs or children stop me to admire my baby dog Grin

I skip.

I like it and it makes me happy.

Some people are old grumps about it but I recently discovered that it's something a lot of people find quite endearing! Grin

I still watch cartoons. Good ones though, like Scooby Doo and Count Duckula.

I don't think it's wierd though. Why would you stop doing something just because you're a Grown Up?

BobTheFishermansWife · 02/09/2019 11:24

I'm a pick n mix buyer, everytime I'm in a shop that sells them, I HAVE to get a biggest cup.
I love going to the zoo, I can't wait to take my son when he's old enough to understand and talk about all the animals!!!

ControversialFerret · 02/09/2019 11:30

I adore strawberry millions and they are my favourite treat.

newbiegreenfingers · 02/09/2019 11:49

Planner stickers are the best!

I also point out animals to my better half who couldn't give two hoots. I have, however, stopped calling dogs "doggies" and moved on to "doggos" which feels a little more grown up. My Dad still calls them "doggies" and he's 65!

dottiedodah · 02/09/2019 11:52

I still sleep with my Teddy !(And DH of course!).Love Smarties ,Chocolate Buttons and milky bars .And still ADORE reading The Famous Five !Also all animals esp Dogs .Love the Zoo as well ,Giraffes and Elephants esp .Zebras too.Fave films :101 Dalmatians ,Nanny Mc Phee ,Mrs Doubtfire!.Also love those Colouring Books , and joy of getting 36 colouring pencils !

Ilikethisone · 02/09/2019 11:56

Oh my God.

I love warm squash. I drink it all winter long. Everyone looks at my like I am mad.

I am 37 ans love stationary. Especially a glittery (look not glittery ink) and fluffy pen to take into board meetings. I always get odd looks, but I dont really care.

WhiteJoshsBiceps · 02/09/2019 11:57

@dottiedodah My friend bought me an adult colouring book a couple of years ago. It was okay but I bought myself a kids one from the pound shop and it was so much better Grin

I love stickers. Also Disney films and branded things-I am thrilled with my Mrs Potts teapot.
I also like to jump into puddles with wellies on.

MarianaMoatedGrange · 02/09/2019 12:12

I'm 64 and love kiddies colouring books! also enjoy old style cartoons, still eat a Twix by nibbling off the toffee first, and point excitedly when I see horses and farm animals. Of course I love zoos and farms where you can pet the animals too!

raffle · 02/09/2019 12:15

I pick dandelion and blow off all the fluffy seeds, even if I’m on my own.

Zaphodsotherhead · 02/09/2019 12:15

Oh yes, I cuddle my doggie and I love it when people point to her when we're out (only from a distance cos she's a barky, bitey thing close to, but I loves her...)

And I dance at work when something I love comes on the radio.

And Pick n mix! I can get quite greedy round a pick n mix counter...

FishCanFly · 02/09/2019 12:16

Center Shock chewing gum and popping candy Grin

matildaagnes · 02/09/2019 12:18

Love pick and mix.
Buy an advent calendar every year (until recently my mum bought it for me - with my prompting!)
Ask my dh to make me a birthday cake every year.
Have to have my own Easter egg as well as getting the children one.

JesusHRooseveltChrist · 02/09/2019 12:22

I have a glass of milk every night before bed.
I wave to all of the dogs that I see. To be fair, DP is as bad as me when it comes to doggos. He also brings me my glass of milk before bed each night Grin

jenthelibrarian · 02/09/2019 12:28

I'm 63 and I have Hello Kitty Converse, and I feel all jolly and gleeful when I wear them.
I also like thickly buttered bread with a sprinkle of white sugar on, which is something I wouldn't have dreamed of giving to my own kids.
As for stickers - who doesn't love stickers??

Echobelly · 02/09/2019 12:30

I love jelly and ice cream. My mum's started serving it again at family events less for the grandkids than for the adults! Grin

Mumof2bears · 02/09/2019 12:33

Definitely agree with skipping! Racing my kids around the play area (eldest is almost as fast as me). Hanging upside down from parallel bars (this is genetic, there's a photo of my shy and retiring mum doing this in her mid-30s like me Smile).

Having an Easter egg is taken as read, surely. And if the kids receive four or five Easter eggs each, surely they 'have' to share them out to make it fair....Wink
