Who would you vote for in a General Election?

If there was a GE tomorrow, which political party would you vote for?

Personally I would vote Labour as I want to see an end to austerity, more money invested in public services and less inequality.

No idea. They’re all lack lustre

BusterTheBulldog · 13/01/2019 21:13

I’d probably go for labour. I wouldn’t be happy though, they are all such a shower of shite. It’s scary that no one has come through all of this as a genuine sensible alternative.

Namechangedforthis79 · 13/01/2019 21:14

For the first time in my life, I wouldn't vote.

Labour

Neolara · 13/01/2019 21:15

I have no idea. They are all awful.

exLtEveDallas · 13/01/2019 21:15

No-one, I would spoil my vote

CottonTailRabbit · 13/01/2019 21:17

God knows. Post-Brexit I assume there will have to be more austerity because the country will be poorer. I don't know which party I'd trust to handle it best. Genuinely stumped.

Autumnnymph · 13/01/2019 21:17

It truly saddens me that none of the choices seem viable and every outcome terrifies me! I have no idea which way I would vote or if I would abstain from voting .

Sad times !

nancy75 · 13/01/2019 21:17

I would hope one of them would make their main promise a second Brexit vote - I would vote for whoever ran with that

LooksLikeImStuckHere · 13/01/2019 21:18

I have absolutely no fucking idea. Although Dominic Grieve is my MP and despite never having voted for him, I’d not be too bothered if he stayed tbh.

MistyMinge · 13/01/2019 21:18

I'd vote Labour, but I don't actually have much faith in them either, they just seem the least worst. They're mostly a bunch of self serving cunts.

Holidayshopping · 13/01/2019 21:18

I would vote Labour but round here it makes no difference.

bellinisurge · 13/01/2019 21:18

Spoil my paper. I'm a life long and middle aged Labour voter.
He's a useless twat. Never would vote Tory.

MrsBungle · 13/01/2019 21:18

For the first time since I was 18, I don’t have a clue. I honestly don’t think there’d be anyone I could vote for Sad

MrsTommyBanks · 13/01/2019 21:18

Labour. I know they aren't ideal atm, but my core ethics are traditionally aligned with Labour.

SusanWalker · 13/01/2019 21:19

Lib dems probably. I usually vote Labour but I can't this time.

Fontofnoknowledge · 13/01/2019 21:20

Labour but I live in a Tory stronghold so it may have to be liberal. I'm a remainder though so I could cope with that.

Antiquevintageandrusty · 13/01/2019 21:21

I am a Labour Party member but I would probably spoil my ballot if there was a GE imminently (live in a Tory stronghold so slightly irrelevant).

BMW6 · 13/01/2019 21:23

Conservative

tilder · 13/01/2019 21:23

I could never vote tory. Couldn't bear them before brexit. How could I vote for a party that in my view is wrecking our country.

As for Labour under Corbyn and McDonnell. Worse then brexit. I have no desire to return to the 70s. The prospect of them in charge of brexit is quite shocking.

And greens. Well I'm a woman. Why would I vote for them.

Leaves me with lib dem. Who should have stepped up to fill the void but spectacularly failed to do so.

We're fucked. I find it depressing tbo.

Disfordarkchocolate · 13/01/2019 21:24

It doesn't matter who I vote for, very safe seat here.

bakingcupcakes · 13/01/2019 21:24

I can't vote Labour because of what they're doing locally. I'd probably vote green or spoil my paper.

Terfing · 13/01/2019 21:24

Spoiled ballot.

I have two xx chromosomes

FamilyOfAliens · 13/01/2019 21:25

No-one, I would spoil my vote

Same.

AwdBovril · 13/01/2019 21:26

At the moment, I honestly don't know. If the Monster Raving Loony Party were still around, I'd probably vote for them, as that would probably make about as much sense as any of the current available options. And there is a good chance that they might believe that I'm a biological entity, not just a concept.

In reality, I would probably spoil my vote.
