Statistically, one of you must have. Do tell! Grin

Or another politician would do.

OP posts:

I met Boris at a lunch and was surprised at how short he was. I reckon he stands next to very short people for photo ops as he always looks quite big and burly.

He really was surprising horrible though - the blustering charm had been replaced by a ruthless, showing off bravado.

He also had the coldest small blue eyes I'd ever seen.

This was about 15 years ago when he was really popular before everyone clued into him being a ruthless self-seeking twat.

I did some work for his sister rachael once and she was lovely.

LoisWilkerson1 · 09/09/2018 10:14

He just reminds of a sandy coloured blackpool donkey.

LARLARLAND · 09/09/2018 10:16

He would probably love being compared to a donkey Grin

LoisWilkerson1 · 09/09/2018 10:17

Damn you're right Grin

MinecraftHolmes · 09/09/2018 11:32

I agree about Gordon Brown - he’s actually quite charismatic in person Blush.

DS is friends with the children of our former MP, and it’s very discombobulating to see a politician in casual clothes.

EnthusiasmIsDisturbed · 09/09/2018 11:42

I met Tony Blair when he had just become leader if the Labour Party

He is very attractive even my staunch Labour hating Tory loving colleague said she would

thereallifesaffy · 09/09/2018 12:01

My politicians hall of shame...
I once met Gordon Brown and Tony Blair in the same room. Brown was def the most shaggable. Talking just pre 1997 election.
I also fancy Alastair Campbell. Phwoar
And, different party, Paddy certainly fancied himself... and made a misjudged comment to me involving a pool table. I managed to resist.
And thank you OP for the funniest and most horrible thread all rolled into one.

PollyFlinderz · 09/09/2018 12:03

No, But I have a secret pash on Stanley.

DurtySarf · 09/09/2018 12:11

thereallifesaffy YY to Alastair Campbell, back in the day...

(As in fanciable, not as in anything else.)

Talith · 09/09/2018 12:12

I had one of those unsettling sex dreams about him years ago. Does that count?

TheGoddessFrigg · 09/09/2018 12:39

I met Alistair Campbell once at a labour party thing years ago. He is the most attractive man I have ever seen sigh. As someone said, he always looks like he'd fuck you if he had the time..... Grin

grumiosmum · 09/09/2018 12:47

As a journalist in the late '90s I met most of the prominent Labour politicians - Brown, Blair, balls & Campbell.

Didn't fancy any of them though. And witnessed one of Gordon Brown's legendary tantrums.

grumiosmum · 09/09/2018 12:48

Actually of the lot Alastair Campbell was definitely the most fanciable Fridge.

Washedwithrain · 09/09/2018 12:52

Hmm to Andy Burnham. He loves to take the credit for the Hillsborough investigation, but only actually did anything about the disaster when he was publicly shamed into doing so. My DH has met him and said he was pleasant and charming, but he's still your typical egotistical politician.

Lottapianos · 09/09/2018 13:01

'I did some work for his sister rachael once and she was lovely.'

That's good, she always comes across well. And she got all the good hair genes in the family

Yes yes to Alistair Campbell

Chipotlejars · 09/09/2018 13:22

R

Chipotlejars · 09/09/2018 13:24

Fwiw I worked - distantly - with his sister many moons ago and she was a decent person I thought.

Hatstand · 09/09/2018 14:59

This thread has helped me feel a bit better about a very disturbing dream I had involving starring Alistair Campbell.

neffall · 09/09/2018 15:09

I see @BertrandRussell hasn't returned to deny it was Roy Hattersley.

805Thistle · 09/09/2018 15:21

Or Cyril.

AsleepAllDay · 09/09/2018 15:23

Yuck! Sweaty shambolic mess closer to my dad's age than mine! Ew

AsleepAllDay · 09/09/2018 15:27

Is this the place to admit that I once had a dream where I snogged Gideon? He offered me a job too, score!

CherryPavlova · 09/09/2018 15:31

No, horrid thought. I have spent the night with Tony B and David M though.

VeryBerrySeptember · 09/09/2018 15:35

I had a kid who looked like Boris as a baby and I did joke about it at the time..( which means I must have read about his shenanigans over 10 years ago.)

But no.

PollyFlinderz · 09/09/2018 15:59

And witnessed one of Gordon Brown's legendary tantrums

Tantrum or meltdown caused by being on the spectrum?

There is difference not that we know for user he is on the spectrum but its worth thinking about when using the word 'tantrum'.
