The twaddle continues ......

Nah, this is series 1 on dvd.

Fettle - I had assumed that John Porter and your dh were in (more or less) the same line of business. But don't respond to that if I'm being too nosy.

Glad you liked the modelling suggestion, Flowers, Like the song says,
''It would take, I know,
A Michelangelo...'' Grin

My favourite bit of classical music too, thank you. And how did I miss that Dibley ep, I loved Alice's comment on the proceedings

Flowers, tut, I carefully neglected to post the list of pressies sent to our August Patron by his adoring fans. It wasn't me who sent the knitted Guy as I am famed for my inability to craft even the merest dish-cloth. Now if were faced with the problem of what I would send, it'd have to be a Pudsey bear.

Down in the sub= basement last night I noted that a charitable theeayter event was scheduled for Nov 21st in London, though no definite signings had been announced,. I don't suppose any will be now either.

I expect you are consolong youself with Bad Boy Byron.

Meanwhile we are really getting to know all the other personae, thanks toe everyone's stirling work. I am proud to be a member of this academic community

PS Does the doctor do eyes? I am sure if he looked into them, they'd feel a whole lot better

Theresaholeinyourmind · 11/11/2010 22:26

Oh NO I see that it's MY GUY! hands off you hussy!

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 11/11/2010 22:28

We have just had the scene where Fallen Angel Face removes his glove.

OP posts:
ASmallBunchofFlowers · 11/11/2010 22:37

I am only watching this, Theresa, to fulfil the requirements for the module on Form and Fashion in the 12th Century: From Gloves to Guyliner.

As you know, I am a One Man Woman. The Bad Boy Byron script has been woefully neglected these last few days.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 11/11/2010 22:38

He will keep doing that glove-doffing. The dirrty boy.

What was that classic aria by Madame Gaga?
''I like it rough.''

Have we had much stalking the corridors in black leather kecks with a big sword strapped to his side? And tripping lightly down the front steps at t'castle. No one can come down stairs like he can.

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 11/11/2010 22:41

Just as you carefully omit the list of gifts, I have carefully omitted to post that Lady Gaga-soundtracked vid. It seems de trop

And of course he's a dirty boy. We're on to episode 8 and he still hasn't had a bath.

OP posts:
Theresaholeinyourmind · 11/11/2010 22:45

How little do you know, Flowers, on the subject of baths.

Re Lady Gaga, Of course we know your tastes are more refined but that cravat removal bit yesterday was pretty darn hot.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 11/11/2010 22:50

Regrettably i woke up before I got to the really good bit,but...

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 11/11/2010 22:51

Precisely.

Fettle · 11/11/2010 23:00

No I'm here. Safely tucked up in bed now (alone except for John porter!). Wind sounds windier up here!!

Flowers DH and John Porter may have a little in commonWink (blue eyes, tall, Grecian nose, good in uniform....)

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 11/11/2010 23:01

Perhaps Fettle has been rendered speechless by the transcendent experience of gazing at a sublime piece of art.

OP posts:
Theresaholeinyourmind · 11/11/2010 23:03

I am just doing some research on a lesser known persona, one John Mulligan. Vid has dodgy soundtrack so I may look for a better one for your delectation examination

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 11/11/2010 23:04

Phew, Fettle. I thought you'd been mesmerised.

OP posts:
ASmallBunchofFlowers · 11/11/2010 23:08

Have been musing on other military gentlemen of Grecian profile. Another screenplay in the offing?

OP posts:
Theresaholeinyourmind · 11/11/2010 23:08

Well, ?

Fettle · 11/11/2010 23:09

Nope not mesmerised! Nearly pulverised! DS window was just blown open and I could barely pull it shut against the wind here!! Beginning to really wish I'd worked harder at that 3D virtual person\hologram study I was given earlier in the course! Could really do with someone here with me!!Grin. Have to make do with pictures!!

Theresaholeinyourmind · 11/11/2010 23:11

I do like a man in uniform, I must say. Put John Porter in that and you've got a winner.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 11/11/2010 23:20

How is for you Fettle? John Porter. Flowers, no fighting in this at all, but look away the last second or so. The rest is well worth study.

Why are so many of his characters called John? Is there some cosmic meaning in this?

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 11/11/2010 23:25

Alert!

We now have Guy Tied To A Tree, revealing his tattoo.

Yes, old Wellie could be a good role for him, but maybe it's time to diversify out of roles which demand swordplay and fisticuffs. I've also been thinking Stanley Kowalski. Just picture the scene.

OP posts:
Fettle · 11/11/2010 23:25

Thanks Theresa! With that I'm off to try sleeping!Smile

Theresaholeinyourmind · 11/11/2010 23:27

''Guy Tied To A Tree, revealing his tattoo.''

Aha, me proud beauty. Lie back and think of Nottingham!
