The twaddle continues ......

OP posts:
MrsLucasNorth · 14/11/2010 21:38

I'll volunteer for Prof of Lucas studies if no-one else is offering!

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 14/11/2010 21:39

Well, since you asked. Here's .

You'll note, Bodenbabe, that Mr Thornton is really very hairy, what with the sideburns and the lock of hair that falls over his forehead which I want to push back. Really not your type at all, I am sure.

OP posts:
Bodenbabe · 14/11/2010 21:40

uh-oh, now I'm in trouble with Theresa, too! Can I make it up to you?

MrsLucasNorth · 14/11/2010 21:41

On another subject entirely - do any of you know if it's ok to give benylin cough syrup and medised a couple of hours apart. Can't see anyone here getting any sleep otherwise...

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 14/11/2010 21:41

Mrs LN is hereby elected to the Lucasian Chair in, err, what exactly? Applied Russian Tattoo-ology, perhaps?

OP posts:
Theresaholeinyourmind · 14/11/2010 21:43

Oyster, why fight, there is enough for two of us I'm sure. If you don't like to share and I must admit I prefer not to, perhaps we could divvy up according to season preferences. I am very taken with Season 2 Guy. Does that help?

MrsLucasNorth · 14/11/2010 21:44

Will try and find some vid of him speaking Russian when I've sorted dd out. Is tres sexy according to my best mate who is not normally swayed by such things.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 14/11/2010 21:47

Boden, you stand refuted by your own evidence. Now what is hirsute about that? Dark, dangerous, lotsa black leather, hair just long enough to toss saucily at you and a soupcon of designer stubble. What's not to like?

But never mind, all the more for me and Oyster

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 14/11/2010 21:49

MrsLN - No idea about the meds, sorry. Offspring is so reluctant to take any sort of meds that we are virtually homoeopathic around her.

Back to a post of Theresa's which I missed. Guy's chest is so smooth that I suspect he's been to Ye Locksley Waxingge Parlourre, all the better to show off Ye Buffed Pecces.

OP posts:
Theresaholeinyourmind · 14/11/2010 21:52

Mrs LN here's a bit of Russian Guy might like

Na kaleni.

StripeyMoon · 14/11/2010 21:52

Evening ladies, my goodness I can't believe how much chat there is today. Theresa, where did you download Clarissa from? I can't seem to find it.

MrsLucasNorth · 14/11/2010 21:53

Bodenbabe - I can see you & Prairie 'twirting' with Lucas Wink!

Flowers my dd takes a fair bit of convincing re meds too but am getting slightly desperate...

MrsLucasNorth · 14/11/2010 21:57

Theresa - you obviously mean Guy of Gisbourne not GTN - even he is too much of a gentleman for that kind of lewdness!

PrairieOyster · 14/11/2010 21:57

Flowers, the correct term is Little Guy not PlasticGuy

And I nearly spat my tea out at the price - £22 !!!

I recently acted as postbox for a friend in the states who bought a Little Guy and she aid less than $5 for it - what a rip off..!!!!

Bodenbabe · 14/11/2010 21:57

ROFLing at 46" into that vid, Flowers! Remind me why we are all ga-ga over this bloke?
Oh yes, 2'41...

Wait! Wait for me! I believe I have the perfect qualifications and experience to help our students get the most out of their Lucasian module. I bow to you, MrsLN, but beg to be of assistance in this part of the course.

On a semantic note, does hirsute only refer to hair other than on your head? When I said Guy was hirsute, I was only referring the his long hair.

MrsLN, we don't do cough medicine (just not had any need yet, not that I am against them) so don't know, I'm afraid. As long as there's no paracetamol in Benylin then I can't see why not? Hope you have a better night.

PrairieOyster · 14/11/2010 21:58

Now I am wondering who bodenbabe is on Twitter...

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 14/11/2010 21:59

Stripey - Yes, the pace pf rigorous intellectual debate here has been hectic.

^I am half full of twaddle
Said the Mr Armitage thread^

Theresa - I am Deeply Shocked.

OP posts:
Bodenbabe · 14/11/2010 22:01

Prairie, see above - I am tink_jane. Now would you say that you are legendary or a lady? ;)

Theresaholeinyourmind · 14/11/2010 22:02

''Guy's chest is so smooth that I suspect he's been to Ye Locksley Waxingge Parlourre''

I had noticed, fear not Flowers, I have seen the odd man without his vest, during the course of my life.

And I noticed the same about Lucas. They facilites they have in Russian prisons must be mind-boggling. But really I guess it's because otherwise they couldn't put on his tats, with him.

What about Llee and John Porter? Anybody know off hand? And why do they bother? If you look at his hands he could often do with a manicure.

MrsLucasNorth · 14/11/2010 22:03

For some reason, whilst sitting here watching 'I'm a celebrity...' with DH and snotty DD, the idea of being locked in a room with Guy of Gisbourne and Robert Lovelace has popped into my head...

Theresaholeinyourmind · 14/11/2010 22:04

Of course ,Mrs LN, cerainly not your lovely GTN, sorry for the ambiguity.
But beg is a bit of a Gisborne specialty

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 14/11/2010 22:11

'Tis pity we'll never get the full story on Lucas' tattoos. Like, who did them? I assume he was in solitary confinement and didn't have a friendly cell-mate with an indelible biro.

We saw John Porter on a vid a few days ago. Again, a customer of the Waxing Parlour (SAS discounts available).

OP posts:
StripeyMoon · 14/11/2010 22:13

Theresa, can you tell me where you downloaded? Or was it someone else?

Theresaholeinyourmind · 14/11/2010 22:13

I think Guy and Lovelace at once would be too much for me , Mrs LN. Guy and Lucas maybe

oooh, semantics, my fave! I did think hirsute referred to the whole package, rather than an abundance of head hair.
If the latter is to be the case I have to say that season 3 Guy could benefit from a visit to ye local Barber's Shoppe.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 14/11/2010 22:15

Stripey sorry I was trying to get to you. There is a link to a link somewhere in this thread but as it's 22 pages it may take me a while to find it. I darent ask Flowers for it again, she is cross with me already for using bad language.
