The twaddle continues ......

I warned you, Theresa, you'd probably catch something. Apart from ArmitageMania.

OP posts:

His ears are very elf-like in some shots, too. And the eyes add to the otherworldliness

I can't quite visualise sexy dwarves , no matter what PJ says

Bodenbabe · 14/11/2010 21:01

Flowers, you can piss off with your Monet... :o I'm not saying the sideburns would put me off, unlike Derren Brown Monet, but it would just be improved without them, pour moi. I know I will love Mr Thornton after I watch N&S but I'll gladly trade you for Lucas atm, so you're safe :)

Oh, Theresa, I assumed you were a UKer (though not sure why)! Where are you then?

Theresaholeinyourmind · 14/11/2010 21:01

Why, can't they get the staff at Claridges these days?

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 14/11/2010 21:01

And, ladies, do you think we should make a plan for tomorrow at 9pm? How are we going to fill that Spooks-shaped hole in the telly schedule?

OP posts:
Theresaholeinyourmind · 14/11/2010 21:04

Boden, I am not in the UK, but at a secret location elsewhere in the world
,

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 14/11/2010 21:05

Actually, Boden, I don't think I would mind pissing off going to Brittany with Monet. Although as I plan to live in Milton-Northern with Mr Thornton, that may have to wait a while.

And I really don't mind if you fall in love with Mr Thornton but you realise it's not going anywhere, don't you? Not when he already has moi.

Well done for ordering The Lords of the North - it's amazingly good, my favourite by far. Of the Heyer books I would recommend Venetia if you have to pick one only...

Theresaholeinyourmind · 14/11/2010 21:12

Have you got LOTN, Oyster? I looked everywhere. The only copy I could find was second hand and loadsamoney, so it was really bad of me.
Will send off for Venetia today!

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 14/11/2010 21:13

I'm worried about Theresa and her Guy Depravity Deprivation.

OP posts:
PrairieOyster · 14/11/2010 21:14

Yes I have got LoTN and the only place you can order new copies is from audiogo.co.UK - should cost less than £30 including postage.

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 14/11/2010 21:17

I'm very nice really, Boden. Wink

:)

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 14/11/2010 21:20

Especially as we agree on so many things. (One too many in the case of Mr Thornton). And I am working on my Possessiveness Ishoos. Wink

OP posts:
Theresaholeinyourmind · 14/11/2010 21:21

Thank you, Flowers, I have to say most of the other ones I checked out seem to load okay. Couldn't do without my Guy fix. Though Mr L was certainly something kind ooooh last tight.

Reckon I have been well and truly done re LOTN but never mind. If it's faulty I can send it back and try your place, Oyster.
Otherwise any money spent in the pursuit of my Armitage studies has not gone to waste.

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 14/11/2010 21:25

Is anyone feeling peckish? I've just found another pick and mix but will save it for later if everyone is all vidded out.

OP posts:
Theresaholeinyourmind · 14/11/2010 21:28

Flowers'sensitivities are one of the reasons I try to stay away from Mr Thornton, Boden. He is extremly appealing and gorgeous in his floppy white shirt and cravat--that shot of him smouldering through the window frame is especially evocative.

I know Lucas has his ladies --I think we need our ownn Lucasian professor here, we can't let Cambridge have all the fun.
Again Lucas is devastatingly gorgeous but he seems taken. ( Can I borrow him now and then, though)

So I stick to Guy whom nobody seems that interested in
No one seems muc

Bodenbabe · 14/11/2010 21:33

Flowers, my dear twinny, yes, always peckish!

I'm not sure about Guy, Theresa - he is utterly gorgeous and I do like that bad-boy thing, but he's just a little too hirsute for me.

Sorry to hear about LoTN - I don't know why it is so hard to find, but at least you can now get it off a website, up to a short while ago you had to make a telephone call to order it. You're not the first to have paid over the odds for it - and probably won't be the last.

I'll have to fight you for Guy though....
