The twaddle continues ......

StripeyMoon · 14/11/2010 22:15

Does anyone else not think Lucas' tats look like a five year old drew them with felt tip? Hmm other than that he is still gorgeous.

PrairieOyster · 14/11/2010 22:16

Bodenbabe

Following you now..

Legendary or a lady?? Is there something I need to know about this question...some context ?

Theresaholeinyourmind - John Porter is not completely smooth a la Guy...

Bodenbabe · 14/11/2010 22:16

I think you are right, Theresa, I think it's the whole package. In which case I take it back :) If he had a haircut I so would :)

Hee hee - just went to the loo and Dh noted that the 3 windows I have open are Twitter Lucas, mumsnet RA thread and a big pic of RA :)

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 14/11/2010 22:17

Well, if we're having a seminar on semantics, Theresa, I wondered why you had seen The Odd Man without his vest. Wasn't that rather a compromising situation to be in?

And I thought hirsute just meant hairy, so any part of the body.

OP posts:
Bodenbabe · 14/11/2010 22:17

Prairie, I was just wondering if you were one of those 2 regulars, but I see you're not :)

StripeyMoon · 14/11/2010 22:18

Sorry, that sounded impatient but ithought it had just got lost in the twaddle chat Grin

Theresaholeinyourmind · 14/11/2010 22:19

Ooops Boden. Is he quick at putting two and two together?

I always have a ,like the Financial Times

PrairieOyster · 14/11/2010 22:21

Boden, which regulars do you mean?

Theresaholeinyourmind · 14/11/2010 22:21

cover, I mean. Where did that word go. The semantics police are certainly after me tonight.
Most of the men I have seen in my life are odd, Flowers.

Bodenbabe · 14/11/2010 22:22

theresa, nah he thought it was funny - I think :)

What's this about the odd man without vest - did I miss something? (quite a lot of alcohol today :o)

MrsLucasNorth · 14/11/2010 22:22

Lucas & Thornton...

Lee & John Porter....

Grin Grin Grin

StripeyMoon · 14/11/2010 22:26

I am completely lost tonight Confused maybe I need sleep. I need a bit of a soothing voice to send me off..

Bodenbabe · 14/11/2010 22:26

Prairie, sorry to confuse - Twitter Lucas has 2 followers of similar names who tweet him a lot and I wondered if you were one of those.

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 14/11/2010 22:27

Public Service Announcement

Anyone wanting an aural thrill with Robert Lovelace should do an advanced search for Clarissa posted by Cornishpasty. It's on the RA in Spooks thread. (Can't C&P the links as the links don't then work).

I am Not Cross, Theresa, Merely Disappointed.

OP posts:
StripeyMoon · 14/11/2010 22:30

Thank you flowers!

Theresaholeinyourmind · 14/11/2010 22:30

One used ''odd men'' in he sense of ''one or two men'', but Madame Flowers took exception to my sloppy semantics, Boden. And quite rightly.

Do hand her the smelling salts, I fear the talk of threesomes might have left her feeling a little faint at such depravity .Lovelace made us do it.

PrairieOyster · 14/11/2010 22:31

Boden

Similar names - don't know who you mean ?? He has a lot of followers now I guess...

Theresaholeinyourmind · 14/11/2010 22:32

Stripey, if you are looking for soothing, you will be disapointed. If you are looking to be aurally ravished in the comfort of your own home, this is for you.

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 14/11/2010 22:35

I know really, Theresa, I just thought the (non-existent) ambiguity was funny.

I wasn't worried about the suggestion of threesomes, assuming as I did that having to choose would lead to a paralysis of indecision and therefore all proprieties would be observed. It was the Russian wot did it.

OP posts:
Theresaholeinyourmind · 14/11/2010 22:43

I thought the Russian was pretty mild, Flowers. Guy says it in English on national Television after all.

Choosing?? I thought the whole point was...Oh I see, you meant which two.
I suppose it could be considered rude not to be completely inclusive.

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 14/11/2010 22:46

Perhaps my Google translation misled me then.

OP posts:
PrairieOyster · 14/11/2010 22:48

I don't understand...?

Theresaholeinyourmind · 14/11/2010 22:52

I don't blame you, Oyster. But which bit is puzzling you particularly?

Bodenbabe · 14/11/2010 22:55

Google translate only giving me half the story here too...

Theresaholeinyourmind · 14/11/2010 22:56

Flowers, re the Russian, I carefully missed out the rudest bit Shock
