The twaddle continues ......

I know we've had it before but I think it's time to remind ourselves we are dealing with.

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 13/11/2010 10:57

Soon lovely cravat shots there.

Now someone, please, tell me to get off the sofa and tidy up my hovel of a home so that tonight's babysitter doesn't recoil in horror.

Flowers, I just got DH to do it while I sit on here Grin

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 13/11/2010 11:04

This is , although some of the facial hair is distracting.

I've just stumbled across this

Oooh, I can't be doing with that Victorian haircut or the Derren Brown goatee, Fleur - puts me right off! (lovely to see them though, so ta for the links!) Am somewhat relieved tbh, as it proves that I do at least have some sanity left - ie. it's not just any old RA, it's got to be the right RA. And facial hair is OUT for Bo.

That Womanizer vid is one of the best, definitely. That tiny little smirk at 3'15 (after the hand-kiss) - heavens, the scene that's lifted from does very odd things to me.

MrsLN, my DH is aware (but not of the extent :o) and I could get away with watching bits here and there but I feel bad about watching more (though it would benefit him enormously if I did though :o) After all, I'm sure I'd be very upset if he sat watching gorgeous girls on YT all day :( I too am desperate for Spooks 7 & 8 but we are working our way through S2 at the moment (developing a bit of a thing for Tom atm, actually). 7 & 8 are on Xmas list so have to wait until at least then. N&S is on list too and I can get away with that because he knows I like period drama - something like Strikeback though, well there's just no explaining that one away, is there? :) It does look horrible though and not my sort of thing at all - maybe the Academy could introduce a Television Production module, and we could hone our skills by editing out all the nastiness and just leaving in the sauciness interpersonal drama.

MiniBodens are 3 and 7, btw. If only RH were repeated, then we could conceivably watch it together!

Right, thanks for all the links, ladies but I am supposed to be painting now, not panting :) (see what I did there?)

Bodenbabe · 13/11/2010 12:21

Btw, did you read Stoopid Twitter Lucas last night? All that nonsense about polishing his big weapon, oh please...

MrsLucasNorth · 13/11/2010 13:00

Oh I don't know Bodenbabe, Lucas and his weapon do it for me Grin
Mind you, I think my sanity is well on the way out. Might have to go and watch a clip or two of 'Sparkhouse' to bring myself back to earth - very bad hair and jumpers.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 13/11/2010 13:00

Well hello ladies, I expect you've all gone to lunch now and I've missed the fun

I have to thank Flowers for her cool voice of sanity last night as always and the charming lullaby. But of course Fangirl Teri peeked.

Mrs LN, another tour de force. I especially enjoyed the extra elements you squeezed in, gloves, blue sheets and the like. A nice pick-me up after a night of too much black leather and Polish Cordial. ,

I am shocked at the thought I was suggesting a gang bang for your last episode, I am sure we have more subtle methods of punishment than that. Besides he might enjoy himself too much, the floozy. Which reminded me of a little giggle I had during my research on new boy Lee yesterday. In one of the YT clips that I so nobly traipsed through because it was not great television, there is a moment when he refers to himself as a ??flirty Gertie??

Meanwhile I am sure John Lucas would be, cough, up for it, when you have finished with GTN. You are more than welcome to carry on where I left off, or take him in new directions. If I can make a contribution I would be more than happy but I bow to your professional skills.

I am in the unhappy position of being unable to access this morning?s study assignments, it seems half the world is on YT and vids are taking forever to load.

As for the topic of incriminating Amazon orders, I am still debating whether to order that second-hand 10 CD audio book.. meanwhile I dread anyone going onto my account there by mistake as all the recommendations have a common theme. Gulp. They even send me emails about it. ??We thought you might like??? Shut up, already!!!

I have given up on Twitter Lucas, as someone said on here before , he sounds about fourteen.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 13/11/2010 13:03

Opps sorry Mrs LN I take it back about TL

MrsLucasNorth · 13/11/2010 13:04

I have an excuse for Strikeback (have a relative who was in that line of work) but I think Dh would think i'd lost my marbles if he found Clarissa and Venetia on my ipod!

Theresaholeinyourmind · 13/11/2010 13:05

And I forgot to say welcome to HeavenForfend
Blame it on the boogie

MrsLucasNorth · 13/11/2010 13:09

Theresa - I know you prefer the more refined gentleman, as do I usually, but am not beyond a bit of juvenile smut on the odd occasion (although as it happens I totally cringe at the 'flirty gertie' bit in Cold Feet). Would still buy it for the speedos though Wink!

Theresaholeinyourmind · 13/11/2010 13:10

Well I opened my big mouth and rubbished RH to the max the first time I saw it, hah ha, everyone look at the silly costumes, and Robin is a teenage wimp in a hoody. I will not watch such rubbish.
(Something must have distracted me because I didn't even notice Our Boy)
So how am I going to explain buying DVDs of it?

Theresaholeinyourmind · 13/11/2010 13:12

Oh yes indeed let's hear it for the speedos. Imagine those on a big plasma telly...

MrsLucasNorth · 13/11/2010 13:35

Perhaps we should campaign for a cinema release of Cold Feet season 5 Grin!

Theresaholeinyourmind · 13/11/2010 13:49

In a 3D version, perhaps?

Bodenbabe · 13/11/2010 14:06

LOL at "a 3D version" :o

Re. Lucas & his weapon - for me it just works so much better when it's hinted at and leaves things to your imagination - it's waaaaay too obvious now for my liking. I'm still following him though, not given up on him yet. The night he Tweeted me was the most excitement I've had in ages :o

MrsLN, I'm planning on getting an iPod just for that :o Well, I need to take up some exercise and it's far less boring when you have something nice to listen to, isn't it? So it's for health reasons, if you think about it. I'm sure would agree.

Am I the only person who loved Cold Feet?! I remember noticing our Subject Of Study and thinking "hello!" but hadn't connected him with being RA until later. And I don't like the Speedos, dare I say - again, too obvious :)

Bodenbabe · 13/11/2010 14:13

Thing is, I've just realised that I have no idea how to download stuff, let alonge get it onto an iPod so would have to ask DH for help, oops.

MrsLucasNorth · 13/11/2010 14:17

I know what you mean about speedos being obvious - on anyone else it would put me right off, but based on the last week I think RA could play a libertine troll in speedos with an American accent and a love of explosives and I'd still walk over broken glass to get my sticky little mitts on him Blush!

Theresaholeinyourmind · 13/11/2010 14:18

What Mrs LN said

Theresaholeinyourmind · 13/11/2010 14:22

PS Boden you could ask one of the staff on here, there are some very techno-savvy ladies about. Well many of them have iPods so they can download their RA stuff. I am sure they would walk you through the process

MrsLucasNorth · 13/11/2010 14:29

Theresa - thank God it's not just me. Have been thinking I might have to seriously consider going cold turkey but...

AdelaofBlois · 13/11/2010 14:33

Does anyone else find themselves drifting off into reveries about RA somewhat physically delivering mill safety lectures whenever they hear 'wind the Bobbin Up'.

Can I write a dissertation on this?
