I have been Psychic since childhood but did not really understand it. I did not have much support so tried to ignore it and not let it get to me. My mother is also one but she doesn't really admit to it, but growing up she would predict events that would happen.
I developed my ability more into my late teens, becoming more clairvoyant and an empath.

Two of my DD also have the ability, one of them is particularly advanced. I am doing my best to help them accept it instead of fearing it but it can be very scary at times, especially my DD who see's in more detail.

Mountfuji

One for when you wake up Op. This is truly interesting thank you.

Do you believe in reincarnation? Do you think people's souls have existed before? Have you experienced any evidence of this in your readings/life experience?

Secondly, can you read animals energy? I often really wonder what my dog is thinking and feeling.

Thank you for being so candid. I am currently reading Mindhunter, a global bestseller by the FBI agent who initiated the FBI Psychological Profiling Unit. He talks about the use of psychics by police and FBI and does not rule it out. He speculates whether a psychic is able to sub-consciously tune into micro cues, behaviours and energies that others simply can't.

Yes I do believe in reincarnation, I believe the soul is a very old energy. Some older then others. I believe souls have experienced several lifetimes, but how many varies from one soul to another. I feel we have kindred spirits, companion/teachers/friends in soulmates and even twin flames that we meet or cross paths with in previous and current lives. When you meet someone you instantly have a feeling for, like you know them from before and you can't help it but feel a pull towards them in whatever way. More than likely they are someone from your past life connection.

Once I was reading for a lady who wanted to know if her DP of 5years would ever propose as he kept skipping the subject when she brought it up and wanted to know if I could see an engagement/wedding for her and DP. He said he never wanted to marry as he had an irrational fear that things would not end well if he disturbed the current relationship status.. Like kind of tempting bad-luck into what he felt was a good situation they had. She was feeling like she would end up leaving the relationship because she wanted marriage and they were of 2 different views. I told her for some strange reason I saw visions of war but on a small scale like over a few hills and men being shot and dying. When I told her, she said that about a year prior she had a past life regression done and found out her current DP was her fiancé back then and had died during an American civil war. She didn't understand that past life fears can flow over into this life too and effect a person. I did tell her he needs to have his soul healed and I felt he will get the help he needed eventually and they would get engaged and marry. She contacted me about 5 months later and told me it took her 2 months to convince him to attend a spiritualist church for soul healing sessions and that 2 weeks prior he proposed and that they were planning a wedding for the following summer.
So yes, I have had visions of past lives when giving readings although it's not frequent but it has happened. Especially if I see an energy blockage which from within the aura not from outside. Then that's a persons inner fears and insecurities which would indicate an early life or a past life trauma/experience.

I love animals and I can see auras at times in cats dogs rabbits and even horses. Their auras appear a little fuzzy to me like a mist or a cloudy look, but I can't read them.

FBI and other authorities have been known to use psychics within their cases. I have also seen and read about this. The lady i used to have readings from early on that helped me harness my ability has helped the police several times during investigations.

Hi PF. One of my daughters has clairvoyant ability. Although she's 14 now and tries to block it out as much as she can. She has had visions of terrorist attacks before they happen.

One thing I wanted to ask you - do you see visions and when you do do they look like cartoons as this is something that seems to happen to my dd.

Hello. It can be a scary experience and the logical mind does tell you that if you can't explain it, then ignore or block it out, otherwise it would drive a person insane. I would advise at some point you get some spiritual help for your DD when/if she agrees, just to help her to understand she is normal even if she does not want to go into depth with the ability.

I see visions like a real life movie playing in my mind, sometimes they can just be like still shot images. Of course they make no sense when I see them but more often then not I get a feeling that goes with it in my gut that this will come to pass.

Many many people have some ability in the way of intuition or gut instinct. I believe the more older or maturer the soul the more stronger it is, and those that have the ability, the strengths also vary. If you choose to explore it you can learn to channel it.

Albeit I don't know everything anything and can never predict everything anything

Fixed that for you.

bellinisurge · 12/07/2018 10:19

Do you make money out of people's misery and uncertainty? How does that feel?

JuliaJaynes9 · 12/07/2018 10:20

Picketfence, this is very interesting and you've been very generous with your time and answers, please ignore the haters😉

Annalogy · 12/07/2018 10:45

I'm torn here...

Either OP genuinely believes that she and her child have psychic abilities

OR she is fabricating this in order to take advantage of those most vulnerable.

Annalogy · 12/07/2018 10:46

I mean, to say that your daughter could foresee a terrorist attack is a very bold statement to make. Perhaps she should be working for the MI5?

Andromeida59 · 12/07/2018 10:52

Of course OP isn't answering all the questions it's because she doesn't have answers. Not sure if it's mental illness or just a desperate cry for attention. She willingly exploits the vulnerable and makes a nice bit on the side. Worrying that she also has her daughter brainwashed into thinking the same.

OP is just a crank. I feel sorry for her victims.

GorgonLondon · 12/07/2018 10:53

Generous? She takes money from desperate people.

please ignore the haters

She is.

Hi and thank you for your message. It's ok I don't let it get to me. I'm sure they have their reasons for being so negative. A bad experience or a personal view.

One experience I had which I will never forget. It wasn't nice at the time but I am so grateful for it because I realised that not everything I see or predict is meant to happen the way I see it. There was a lady who was trying to conceive for over a year or so and she had the ovulation kit etc she used diligently but it just wasn't happening. and wanted to know if she will get pregnant. Medically she told me her and the husband were both fertile no problems. It was November/December time when I gave her the reading.
All through the reading I was seeing an image of February circled on a calendar. I told her that I was almost certain she would fall pregnant in February. I saw the month several times so I said I am going with that. Well come March she sent me an email, upset and said a few not very nice things about fake predictions, ripping people off. I offered her a refund but she did not respond back.
Then in June the same year I got a very lengthy email from her profusely apologising for all the unkind things she said to me and told me that she was finally pregnant and had only just had her dating scan and was given the due date of mid February. So in a way I wasn't wrong. Just that it wasn't the conceived month I had predicted but the month her baby was due to enter the world.

PicketFenceCottage thank you so much for that lovely answer - it has given me a lot of comfort thank you.

I am good at reading people. Within minutes of meeting people, often not even talking directly to them, I can tell you remarkable amounts about them. DD is the same, perhaps to a greater extent. With close friends and family, I am even more tuned in to subtle changes in their demeanour. At uni, a friend was convinced I was psychic and kept "testing" me, most memorably demanding "I'm thinking of a celebrity WHO is it" and I got it right first guess. She thought it proof. It was. Of how easy she was to read.

Are DD and I psychic? Nope. Just introverts who are very good at reading people and situations. Take away my self awareness and critical thinking skills and I'd probably fancy myself a bit clairvoyant.

BitOutOfPractice · 12/07/2018 10:58

But the month prediction is just a two in twelve chance isn't it?

Scottishlassie81 · 12/07/2018 11:10

You mentioned using runes or channelling stones to help open up to any abilities people might have. Is there a particular stone that you would recommend?

Like a few others mentioned, I have had a reading where the person had a gift but I've never explored it.

Thanks in advance.

Yes you are right, maybe if I were only able to read people I wouldn't believe I had clairvoyant abilitiy. I would just pass it off as being highly intuitive.
When I see visions and give future predictions that eventually come to pass then it's something entirely different.
I am not posting here to convince or argue with anyone's preconceived opinions. Nor am I here to advertise or promote myself. I am here to share my experiences with those who would like to ask me questions, non insulting in context. I don't have to prove myself or give excuses for what I do. If anyone has doubts or is dead against this then that is your prerogative. Just as my belief is mine.

Except we're not taking people's money and preying on their fears, grief, and unhappiness for financial profit.

I don't have to prove myself or give excuses for what I do.

The US Criminal Justice department disagree. Hopefully the UK may catch up soon.

Hi and thanks for your question. I personally feel there is nothing set in stone (excuse the pun) with what tools you use to channel an ability. It's what you feel a magnetic pull or certain unexplained connection too. Some people choose not to use anything some use several tools and some stick to just one.

I would suggest a person looking to choose a stone or a crystal as a tool to help channel their ability or to help boost their energies to be able to channel an ability and are confused as to which one to go with and don't feel a certain pull towards anything specific. Should have an aura reading to see which one compliments their aura. Many astrologists would suggest using your birthstone paired with a stone or crystal that would enhance its energies. It is important to find out as some stones/crystals used together can actually cause more damage then good as they are opposites or their energies counteract with each other's energy field.
I hope that's helped.

I'm also able to pretty accurately predict things that will happen from reading people. I've known for a few months that a colleague would leave work some time this year, I would have guessed at the summer some time if I had been asked earlier this year. She handed in her notice last week. She thinks it was a recent decision but I know her. I know things about her which meant I was pretty sure she had been moving in this direction for months before she even realised. She was not unhappy at work or job hunting.

I'm not being disparaging op. I'm just describing how one person's definition of psychic can be easily unpicked as just good at reading people and spotting patterns and trends. I think asking questions is useful and I think there's room for a range of answers.

Scottishlassie81 · 12/07/2018 11:25

Thanks that' really helpful.

I'm only 22 and have had this for years.

You, in an earlier post. But you also said your daughter is 14.

Hi there. That was a message posted by another user by the name of OUTOFTYME

it's not my post. If you read my reply to this person or scroll up and read their post you will see it.

But to answer this with my own experience I would say it's a very big misconception that many people who have premonitions can see dates, times, locations etc a long with the premonition or vision.
Forget what you watch in movies or dramas. It's not something you can control or even ask to see.
What is the purpose of it then?? I feel maybe higher power sends these visions and messages to convince or show the person they have an ability and more than likely a life's purpose to follow. To find their destined path in life To help or heal people.

Reiki is another ability a person who has an immense desire to heal and help people, can explore and harness and then go forward in life to heal or cleanse souls.

It's a spiritual belief, similar to religious beliefs. Some people choose to debunk them and some people swear it has given them a life purpose and satisfies their soul by following their spiritual path.

Going back to visions and premonitions, It's more of a feeling it will happen or a strong instinct you just can't shake once you have had the vision or premonition.

Oh apologies- my bad.

It might be easier if you bold quotes - by putting a * either side of the quote as it’s a bit difficult to tell which are your words and which are the words of others.

Sorry again.

Hi there. When I copy and paste people's questions I write my answers underneath that. So I get why you would think those were my posts.

The 22 yr old and the 14 yr old daughter were 2 separate questions posted by 2 different users.

Answered in 2 separate posts by me.
