For mums who have ever tried to squeeze a pumping session into an already chaotic day, a wearable breast pump that genuinely fits around family life can make a huge difference.

Our parent tester, Ash put the eufy S2 Pro through its paces as part of everyday life with a five-month-old and a toddler, finding it efficient, comfortable to wear and easy to fit around her routine. Over several weeks of testing, she found it incredibly efficient, comfortable to wear and easy to incorporate into everyday life, whether pumping at home or while out and about.

Ash was particularly impressed by the pump's milk output, saying, "The pumps are the best I've used - even better than manual ones in my opinion." She regularly expressed around 5oz (150ml) in just five minutes and found the pump significantly more effective than wearable pumps she'd used previously.

Another feature that really stood out during testing was the wireless charging case, which helped keep everything together when Ash was carrying the pumps around in her changing bag. She says, "The standout for me is definitely the chargeable case. What an invention! Battery life is amazing anyway, but the case makes it even better."

The eufy S2 Pro isn't cheap, and at higher suction settings Ash found it powerful enough to cause some discomfort on one side, particularly when using the maximum level. However, she felt these were minor drawbacks compared with the pump's overall performance. Overall, Ash struggled to find much fault with it. As she puts it, "It's absolutely excellent. I recommend it all the time already."

How we tested the eufy S2 Pro

Ash tested the eufy S2 Pro while exclusively breastfeeding her five-month-old daughter and building a freezer stash of expressed milk. She used the wearable breast pump both at home and while out and about, incorporating it into her normal daily routine as a busy mum of two.

Most commonly, Ash used the pump while feeding her daughter on one side, expressing from the other breast at the same time. Depending on her routine, she used the pump between once and three times a day across several weeks of testing.

The testing also had a particularly meaningful purpose. Alongside building her own milk supply, Ash was expressing milk for a baby due later this year whose mother had undergone a double mastectomy following cancer treatment. As Ash explains, "She and I are so grateful for the opportunity to test the eufy S2 Pro because it's absolutely amazing."

Throughout the testing period, Ash assessed the eufy S2 Pro across a range of real-world criteria, including milk output, comfort, battery life, portability, ease of cleaning, app functionality and overall usability.

Once testing was complete, she scored the pump across eight key categories: performance, quality and durability, ease of use, value for money, comfort and fit, noise level and discretion, battery life, and hygiene and cleaning.

The eufy S2 Pro achieved an impressive total score of 94 out of 100, earning a five-star rating. It performed particularly strongly in performance and quality and durability, where Ash awarded full marks (15/15), reflecting her experience of a pump that felt both exceptionally effective and built to last. It also achieved top marks for comfort and fit (10/10) and battery life (10/10), two areas that consistently stood out throughout testing.

The nipple measuring guide is a particularly useful addition, as finding the right flange size can make a huge difference to comfort and milk output. Ash measured herself before getting started and found she was a 17mm, although she chose not to use the insert during testing as she was already getting great results with the standard setup.

She says, “I haven’t used the flange inserts because my nipples are big! I fear it may suck out my soul if it’s any tighter.” The charging case was also a standout part of the unboxing experience. Rather than having to keep track of separate pump parts and cables, everything has its own place, making it much easier to throw into a changing bag and take with you.

How easy is it to assemble and use for the first time?

While wearable breast pumps can sometimes involve a bit of trial and error when you first get started, Ash found the eufy S2 Pro quick and uncomplicated to set up. She says, “After unpacking the pump, I connected straight away with ease to the app via Bluetooth. It took less than 5 minutes to set up from box.”

The straightforward setup meant Ash was able to start using the pump almost immediately, without needing a long adjustment period before incorporating it into her routine.

The eufy S1 Pro focuses on reliable warming and portability. The S2 Pro is a more advanced option with mechanical massage features, HeatFlow 2.0, a night light, and a slimmer, see-through design.

What’s the eufy S2 Pro like to use day to day?

One of the biggest benefits of the eufy S2 Pro for Ash was how easily it fitted around her existing feeding routine. She most commonly used the pump while breastfeeding her daughter on one side and expressing from the other, helping her build up a freezer stash without needing to add separate pumping sessions into her day.

The wearable design meant she could use the pump while still getting on with other things around the house. She says, “I can confidently tend to household jobs whilst pumping with this device in my bra.”

Ash was also impressed by the secure fit and soft silicone, which helped keep the pump comfortable and leak-free during use. “It has never leaked onto my bra which I think might be due to the silicone securely sticking,” she explains.

She also liked the design of the milk collection area, particularly when it came to transferring milk afterwards. “The shape of the pour means that no milk has been spilled between pump and breast milk pump,” she says.

For Ash, the biggest difference was that the eufy S2 Pro made expressing feel easy to fit around family life, rather than something she had to plan her day around.

How comfortable and wearable is the eufy S2 Pro?

Ash found the eufy S2 Pro comfortable to wear, with soft silicone flanges that felt gentle against her skin. Like most wearable pumps, it is still visible under clothing, but she felt it was less bulky than previous pumps she had tried and didn’t find it affected her posture. She says, “There was no negative effect on my posture, you can see it [the pump] when I’ve got my clothes on but that’s to be expected with any hands-free pump.”

The one thing Ash did notice was just how powerful the suction is. While this was a major strength for milk output, she found the highest setting was more intense than she needed, particularly on one side.

“There is a little bit of pain as my nipple is sucked to the very end of the tunnel, however that’s my choice of using setting 7 (maximum),” she says.

With 10 suction levels, three speeds and four rhythms to choose from, Ash found she could adjust the settings to suit her own comfort while still achieving excellent results. For her, the key was finding the right combination rather than automatically using the highest setting.

How efficient is it?

The eufy S2 Pro was one of the strongest performers in Ash’s testing, particularly when it came to milk output and pumping speed. She regularly expressed around 5oz in just five minutes from one breast, often while feeding her daughter on the other side.

While every breastfeeding journey is different and output will depend on factors such as supply, fit and pumping routine, this was a particularly impressive result for a wearable pump. Ash says, “The pump is that effective that me personally, not had to go beyond 5 mins to achieve 5oz.”

She felt the pump’s strong suction and longer tunnel design helped it work efficiently for her. “The tunnel in this pump is really long and it sucks hard so the nipple reaches the end of the tunnel,” she explains. “I think this is why I am achieving 5oz in 5 minutes with just one boob.”

For comparison, when we tested the similarly priced Momcozy Air 1 wearable breast pump, tester Kate also found it delivered strong performance, expressing what she considered a full feed in around 20 minutes. This highlights that both pumps are capable performers in the premium wearable category, although the eufy S2 Pro stood out in Ash’s testing for the speed at which she was able to express.

For mums looking to build a freezer stash, reduce pumping time or find a wearable pump that fits around a busy routine, the eufy S2 Pro’s efficiency was one of its biggest strengths.

What are the smart features of the eufy S2 Pro?

The eufy S2 Pro offers plenty of customisation, with four pumping modes: Boost, Relieve, Soothe and Fusion, alongside app connectivity, where users can adjust settings, track sessions and access additional features.

Ash downloaded the app and explored what it offered, but found she personally preferred using the controls on the pump itself. “I’m 34 and for me, I prefer controlling it manually without an app,” she says. “I have downloaded the app and all the ‘bells and whistles’ features are on there.”

Two of the eufy S2 Pro’s standout features are HeatFlow 2.0 warming technology and the VibraPump massage function, which are designed to support milk flow and make pumping more comfortable. However, Ash found she didn’t need to rely on these features to get good results. “I have preferred to not put the heating option on as during testing it’s been a heatwave,” she explains.

She also enjoyed the massage function, although it didn’t make a noticeable difference to her milk output. “The massage setting would be more suitable, in my opinion, for people with a slower flow or smaller boobs,” she says. “It hasn’t increased flow compared to using it without the heat or massage setting. Although it feels rather lovely!”

While these features weren’t essential for Ash’s own pumping routine, she appreciated that they were available and felt they could be useful for parents who want more support or a more tailored pumping experience.

How travel-friendly is it?

For Ash, the wireless charging case was one of the biggest selling points of the eufy S2 Pro. It kept the pumps protected, organised and ready to take wherever she needed them, making it much easier to fit expressing around family life.

“The charging convenience is one of the main stand-out features for me,” she says. “I have taken it everywhere.” Ash found the case practical for days out, as it kept the smaller parts together and didn’t take up too much space in her changing bag.

“The case is not too bulky that it takes up a whole bag,” she explains. For parents who want to pump away from home, Ash felt the eufy S2 Pro offered the convenience she needed without adding extra bulk or hassle.

What is the battery life like?

Battery life was another area where the eufy S2 Pro impressed during testing. While eufy states that the charging case can provide up to seven days of power, Ash found she rarely needed to think about charging during everyday use.

“Whilst using it once per day, I can go at least a week before battery has even moved off the top notch,” she says. “When using it three times a day, it only moves off the top notch after five to seven days.”

The charging case also gave Ash extra reassurance, as she always had a convenient way to top the pumps up when needed. For Ash, the combination of strong battery performance and the charging case meant the eufy S2 Pro was one less thing to worry about when pumping regularly.

How easy is the eufy S2 Pro to clean?

For a wearable pump with several features, Ash found the eufy S2 Pro surprisingly straightforward to clean. With only a few parts to wash after each use, cleaning and sterilising quickly became part of her routine rather than a time-consuming chore.

“The only fiddly bit to remove for washing is the valve but it’s definitely not hard work,” she says. Ash also appreciated that eufy includes four replacement valves in the box, meaning there’s no immediate need to purchase extras. She hand-washed the parts after each use and found the process simple enough to manage alongside her usual routine.

Is it good value for money?

At £379, the eufy S2 Pro sits firmly at the premium end of the wearable breast pump market, so it’s a considered purchase rather than an impulse buy. However, after several weeks of testing, Ash felt the performance, convenience and quality made it a worthwhile investment.

“I personally would say it’s an amazing investment for new mums,” she says. For Ash, the wireless charging case was a major part of the pump’s appeal. It kept everything organised, made the pump easy to take out and about, and added extra reassurance when it came to battery life.

“It’s more money than others out there but the charging case and how well it pumps makes it really worth it to me,” she explains. The build quality also helped justify the price. After more than a month of regular use, Ash found both the pumps and charging case still looked brand new and felt confident they would last beyond her current breastfeeding journey.

“The quality of the material matches the price tag, especially the charging case,” she says. “I’ve tested for over a month, and everything still looks brand new.” She adds, “I have no doubt this would be done for multiple children. I think it could potentially even be passed on for years to come!”

While there are cheaper wearable pumps available, Ash felt the eufy S2 Pro delivered the kind of performance, durability and convenience that made the higher price easier to justify, particularly for mums who plan to pump regularly.
