I'll start!

B: bran sticks and oat milk, glass of OJ.
L: Hummus and tomato toastie.
D: Stir fry: pepper, courgette, onion, garlic, ginger, carrot and Quorn chicken-style pieces, noodles and lots of soy sauce. First time I've tried the chicken-style pieces; they were on offer. Nice and low cal/high protein, but nothing special in terms of taste.
Snacks: apple, banana, bombay mix.

Well I might as well carry on!

B: porridge with banana and cherries.
L: Cheese and red onion toastie using Violife cheddar-style slices which melt beautifully! The bread was homemade to offset the processed cheese Grin.
D: Bean burger with homemade coleslaw, cucumber, gherkins and mushy peas!
S: apple, fresh fig x2, bowl of olives.

B: porridge with figs and strawberries.
L: toasted rye bread with a salad of kale, rocket, plum tomatoes, beetroot, grated carrot, cucumber and avacado, topped with a Sainsbury's soya burger
D: brown rice bowl with Linda McCartney hoisin shredded 'duck', carrots, mushrooms, spinach, kale and peas
Snacks: co-op free from chocolate bar. Toast with peanut butter.

LeftieLovegood · 03/10/2019 21:56

Yum, sounds great @witchy89! I love the Linda duck but never know what to do with it other than pancakes with cucumber and spring onions; will definitely try it in a rice bowl!

@LeftieLovegood oh I love it, try it in a noodle stir fry too! Delicious!! I really loved the chicken one but I think they discontinued it? I loved it in soups, or fried crunchy for Buddha bowls! I think they might have replaced it with a pulled pork version which is pretty good as well.

IJumpedAboardAPirateShip · 03/10/2019 22:04

Love this idea! I’m 8 hours behind so my yesterday was:

B: Toast with almond butter
S: Date, almond butter, coffee and banana smoothie
L: Omabusi sushi rice rolls (1 miso mushroom, 1 spicy aubergine, 1 wasabi and seaweed)
D: tofu and lentil bolognese
S: kale chips and blueberries

LeftieLovegood · 03/10/2019 22:07

@witchy89 Ohh I've never seen the chicken one, shame as it sounds good! So many ideas, thank you! Always felt a bit suspicious of pulled pork but will keep an eye out for it.

goteam · 03/10/2019 22:14

B: granola with added linseeds and oat milk plus OJ
Coffee and 2 dark choc digestive (from tesco)
L: Homemade lentil and red pepper soup, multigrain baguette, houmous, olives, bacon wheat crunchies (oops)
D: stir fry with buckwheat soda noodles, tofu, soya beans, mushrooms and cashews with miso, soya, ginger chilli sauce, a few aldi dark choc mint things afterwards
Now: gin and tonic!

goteam · 03/10/2019 22:15

LeftieLovegood · 03/10/2019 22:16

I'm not vegan but trying to eat more plant based foods, so would like to follow if that's ok? Today I've managed 100% plant based!

B: oat milk cappuccino
L: wicked kitchen cauli pasty
D: roasted root veg and green lentils with spinach (from the Jamie Oliver veg book, I had it with almond 'yoghurt' instead of dairy)
S: dark chocolate and celery with hummus

LeftieLovegood · 03/10/2019 22:45

@BrioLover - the more the merrier! Sounds like a tasty day (although I would die of starvation if I only had a cappuccino for breakfast!). Is the Jamie Oliver book any good?

Following for ideas as I love to host and a few friends and family members are vegan.
Tonight I made a Thai Green Curry with baby sweet corn, mange tout, peppers, onions and mushrooms. Served with jasmine rice. It was a practice for my sister's visit next week and none of the meat eaters complained. :)

lavenderlove · 03/10/2019 22:52

Ooh I like this thread as I need new ideas!

B - peanut butter bagel
L - hummus and salad wrap & tangerine
D - (homemade) satay sauce stir fry with veg and tofu
Also had some (half of a big barBlush) of the co-op raspberry dark chocolate tonight

imundecided · 03/10/2019 22:55

@witchy89 Morrison's still sell the chicken style one!! I was gutted when I thought that they had discontinued it

PurpleDaisies · 03/10/2019 23:00

I’ve had a weird day today.

B : Lidl bake in the oven pretzel
Mid morning snack : alpro choc dessert pot and some vegan jerky
L : homemade carrot and barley soup with bread
Dinner : macaroni “cheese” with a vegan sausage roll
More snacks : bag of hummus crisps and a ruffle bar
Plus a fair amount of strepsils

Littlechocola · 03/10/2019 23:02

Not vegan but wanting to eat more plant based so great thread for ideas.

mrsjackrussell · 03/10/2019 23:23

Late breakfast. Homemade granola fruit salad, soy yoghurt massive bowl.
Dinner. Mushroom curry brown rice.

MrsJacksonAvery · 03/10/2019 23:28

I’m doing 16:8, so:
Lunch: couscous, kidney beans, roast veg and homemade sundried tomato houmous
Snack: avocado on toast
Dinner: jacket potato & beans followed by coconut collaborative mini pot - banoffee (was delish)

BrioLover · 04/10/2019 07:11

@LeftieLovegood I'm not a great breakfast eater but yes I can understand that! I own a coffee shop though so a proper cappuccino each day is a nice start - we use Oatly Barista which is nice and creamy. Today we have a vegan choc and raspberry cake on so I'll be having a slice of that for my afternoon snack with a cuppa...

crosser62 · 04/10/2019 07:16

Yesterday
B seeded wholemeal toasted bread and peanut butter
L veg cous cous and a huge chopped salad
Packet of lentil curls
D home made chips (air fried) and beans.
Square dark chocolate

I eat like that most days and I’m still 3 fucking stone overweight. Fucking meno.

BrioLover · 04/10/2019 07:18

@LeftieLovegood forgot about the book! I've only just bought it so will make a few more things and report back! It gives a good first impression and allows lots of things to be veganised (through the suggestion of alternatives to paneer in a curry for example).

catalystc · 04/10/2019 07:32

Love these threads!

I do 16:8 intermittent fasting and usually just have a coffee with sugar and oatmilk to break my fast. Yesterday looked like this

10:30 - coffee with oatmilk
1pm - toast with avocado and chopped tomatoes and a banana
5:30pm - gardein beefless strips, rice, green beans and peas

Snacks - handful of nuts, a few raisins and a homemade peanut butter cookie
