Busy weekend, just been out for a big walk round a nearby country park. Lots of swans. Dh had the fantastic idea of sticking a casserole in the slow cooker before we went out so dinner is ready!

Mrs I'm glad she's going to report. I'd forgotten about the employer thing which someone else mentioned. My friend worked in finance and told me she had to have a squeeky clean credit rating otherwise you're judged as a fraud risk and fired basically.

Em my ex used to use the illness manipulation too. He took to having a stomach ache every time we were going to do something he didn't want to, usually socialising. He also developed one every time we were arguing and I had a valid point backed up with evidence. I took to leaving the phone next to where he was curled up "in agony" on the sofa with the doctors phone number written down, then I'd go out or whatever. Your planned meal sounds lovely.

Tayto she did roast dinner today, garlic & herb potatoes, stuffing balls, yorkshires, lemon & Rosemary chicken & veg. I was so impressed, now I really have something to live up to!

I’m also not a very adventurous cook. And rarely cook for a lot of people. My roast chicken dinner the other day was the first time I’d done a roast by myself. I’m 36 for goodness sake. This Sunday I’m cooking for 10.

I was wondering why people DC weren’t at school today, and then I remembered some people’s Easter holidays start this week. We have to go to school until the end of Thursday. But on the plus side shops etc should open during our second week of holiday.
