Anyone else excited for this? Ready to get going in the new year?

I got all excited when it was announced but just can't get the site to load. Had anyone else managed to get into it?

Day 8 perfect for me after a 4 hours spent on various trains today. Weirdly gave me an energy boost, did it shortly after getting in when when I felt bushed. Afterwards I made dinner, washed up and cleaned the kitchen a bit. Ready to flake out with a cuppa now though!

Just completed day 8 just before crawling into bed with a tea and hot water bottle. Benji with the blanket was so sweet.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one with aching abs from 2 days ago. Hopefully I'll be able to cough without "owing" tomorrow

Definitely aching abs here too!

I struggled with today's. I know it's important to have these types of practice too (and rest days in general) but I just find it really dull and I end up looking at my watch frequently which is never a good sign. I just want to move a bit more. I ended up tacking on another random YWA video afterwards.

Day 9 and I really didn't want to do this but by the end was glad I did. One legged standing tadasana always hard for me, but hey warrior 2!

I enjoyed today.

Although I made the mistake of doing it after breakfast, which was not helpful with the forward folds.

Forgot to report that I completed (and loved) day 8 last night. It really helped me to wind down and I slept well afterwards.

Looking forward to day 9 later!

did day 8 yesterday which was nice and I really enjoyed this mornings too was a lovely start to the day.

Much preferred Day 9 to Day 8 here! I really like balancing work because it forces me to really focus. Love starting the day with 'Knocking on Heaven's Door' too as it always gives me a burst of energy/enthusiasm and leaves me feeling lighter. I find myself doing it randomly in the day too when I'm WFH and need a bit of a break.

Day 9 done, it felt long after all the easy/short sessions. Glad I did it, though I still feel stiff through my abs. I guess the balance poses use abs too so won’t ease up for a while.

Day 9 done after a long run, such a nice way to stretch out. Surprised with being able to keep my balance way more today than previous. I did get distracted by benji watching a giant bird out of the window towards the end.

Well, I've just done Day 5. I started it yesterday, but had absolutely no energy even for a short yoga session. So I gave up and vegged out for a bit instead. I did enjoy it when I got to it...not so much the hydrants though!

I enjoyed today. Fell out of position a few times but just laughed at myself and carried on. The beauty of practicing at home is there’s nobody to see you mess up!

I really enjoyed today. Glad I checked the thread earlier, as I know the knocking on heaven's door energizes me, so I did it a bit sooner rather than at bedtime today

I wear my Apple Watch and log the YWA workouts. Today's was the one that burnt the most calories according to my watch - I'm guessing because of the last bit? Obviously it's more reflective of the effort that I put in than anything and the absolute number is likely rubbish but I thought it was interesting from a relative point of view. It was quite a lot more than all of the others - although obviously these sessions are never going to be a major calorie burn and that's not the point of them at all!

Today is the first day that I didn't want to get on the mat as tired and grumpy but I did it anyway and it was a lovely one. Enough planks to make you feel you worked hard but some fun stuff like knocking on heavens door. I confess that I did modify a couple of downward dogs to extended child's pose but just the bit where she treats it like it's a relaxing pose and not the hell on earth that it is to me 😁

I did days 8+9 together as I got back home so late last night. I should have done it anyway in hindsight. I didn't know it was just rest!
9 was lovely. I like balancing (or trying to balance!).

Day 9 done. I found balancing on one side much easier than the other. My hips finally feel as if they are easing up as well.

Day 10 is rather nice! I struggled again with motivation and a couple of times thought she had started to wind down but it was just wishful thinking. But it was a rather lovely practice building on balance. And warrior 2!
