Anyone else excited for this? Ready to get going in the new year?

I got all excited when it was announced but just can't get the site to load. Had anyone else managed to get into it?

If you go to the App Store, and look for Find What Feels Good, you can sign up there, or I think you can do it via the website. There is extra content on there, like some seven day series, some of whom are done by other teachers, plus it is ad-free. I like it for that, and because I can download stuff if I know I’m not going to have internet access.

And in watching the Behind the Scenes, I found out it’s going to be the last 30 Days!! I think they are planning other stuff instead, but it still feels a bit sad as I love starting my year this way. Plus it’s been comforting this year to have that routine to fall back on when life is really tough right now.

CeeCeeDeeBee · 07/01/2024 17:17

Just finished day 6. I'm glad it was floor based, but my abs are still on fire!

Oh! I was wondering what the news was that they hinted in the email but I'm sad this will be the last one too. I guess it's a huge amount of effort.

Rummikub · 07/01/2024 17:28

Oh that’s a shame!

Wonder why?
it must drive a lot of traffic over. I hope they’re not monetising if.

Moofart · 07/01/2024 17:41

Oh that's a shame! I do feel there's a slightly different feeling to this course than in previous ones I've done, almost like perhaps she's tiring of doing them. She just perhaps seems slightly less enthusiastic than in previous years but i can't put my finger on it, they just have a different energy. Maybe she is ready for a new challenge. That's not a criticism in any way as I do love her! She's one of the reasons I did my yoga teacher training.

mynameiscalypso · 07/01/2024 17:54

I assume from the large rock on her left hand that she's getting married at some point so maybe her life's just entering a new phase. I would have thought though like a PP that the 30 day challenges must give her audience a real boost every year though so it will be interesting to see what/how she'll replace it with.

froginawell · 07/01/2024 17:55

Day 6 completed.

Strangely devastated to hear this is the last year!

functioningadult · 07/01/2024 17:59

Knowing this will be the last one is making me strangely determined to actually finish this one. Day 6 was brutal for me though. Hoping tomorrow is kinder!

SunUpSunDown · 07/01/2024 18:06

Adriene did get married late last year, so I imagine it's part of the shift. Also, apparently the 30 Days take around six months of the year to prepare, film and edit!

CeeCeeDeeBee · 07/01/2024 18:15

Oh no! I'm so gutted it's the last one! I've been doing them since the beginning :(

narniabusiness · 07/01/2024 18:36

I’ll be feeling that tomorrow!

Sad but not surprised to hear that this is the last year she’ll be doing this. I hope she’ll carry on making new content just not in a 30 days format.

HappyNewYears · 07/01/2024 18:57

I hope we will still be able to access the old 30 days collections as we can now. I would be happy to just repeat the same set each year. I wonder if she is pregnant.

Rummikub · 07/01/2024 19:02

She says she isn’t right now.

I hope can access the old ones. Though the email reminders really work well for me as a prompt once I get going

Weepingwillows12 · 07/01/2024 19:20

Oh I will miss the special January series. Really like them and much more motivated when I have less freedom to choose an easier one! Interesting to see what she's doing instead.

I actually enjoyed day 6. Was hard but could really feel the burn and felt like I needed it.

BestIsWest · 07/01/2024 19:29

I’ve had an ocular migraine which while not bad in itself has left me wiped out for the last couple of days - hope to get back to it tomorrow.

Jumbojem · 07/01/2024 22:14

Oh no gutted it's the last one! Thank you subscribers for letting us know. I can see how it takes a lot of effort as they are very well produced and with the daily email etc it's a lot more than you get with other online free stuff.
I did notice this year's is the same location as last year, when in the past she's had a new location each year.
Another random thing I noticed, she's no longer clad head to toe in Adidas, so guess she's no longer working with them?
I didn't know she'd got married already, I did see the engagement announcement. How lovely for her!

mynameiscalypso · 08/01/2024 07:28

I woke up early this morning so managed to do today's session first thing. Back to a similar sort of pattern as pre-Day 6 although my abs would have preferred it if there weren't quite so many planks in today's!

I'm terrible at syncing up the breath with the movement generally so really had to focus on that which was actually quite a nice way to get out of the 'I've been awake for hours worrying about every little thing in my life' headspace that I was in.

cornishone · 08/01/2024 08:13

I definitely felt yesterday's after all those planks.

Felt good to get it over and done with before breakfast though. I'm hoping I can keep that up.

ConflictedCheetah · 08/01/2024 09:01

Great to hear how everyone is getting on and welcome to all the newcomers.

I'm out for a bit I'm afraid. I was away over the weekend and did do day 5 while away but felt pretty ropey yesterday. Last night I had a high temperature all night and am pretty unwell. So I'm dropping out for a bit. Will have to see how the week goes and when I'm well enough to pick up from day 6 again. Gutted.

Keep going everyone! You're doing brilliantly.

Sooverthemill · 08/01/2024 09:03

Agh today I felt every single muscle around my middle! But I kept going.

SunUpSunDown · 08/01/2024 09:19

Day 4 done here...I've managed to start sleeping again, plus my appetite has picked up a little, so that's helping with motivation. I can tell too, as I had to stop halfway through today to grab a banana!

@ConflictedCheetah Sorry to hear you are feeling poorly. There's some nasty bugs going around right now. Hope you feel better soon.

mynameiscalypso · 08/01/2024 09:53

@ConflictedCheetah Sorry to hear you're feeling so rough. Hope you make a speedy recovery. Look after yourself!

afaloren · 08/01/2024 10:36

Day 7 done. I had to stick with half planks again. I just don’t have the arm strength (I know planks are really about core strength but I have feeble arms) but I really enjoyed the breathing. I really struggle to sync my breath so a practice focused on that was useful for me.

HappyNewYears · 08/01/2024 10:57

Yes I don’t do full planks. I felt like I hadn’t done much of yesterday but really felt my abs in cobra.

inomniaparatis · 08/01/2024 13:48

I've not checked in for a few days but I've managed to keep up (so far). Yesterday was tough and I ache a lot today! Struggled a bit with today's mainly because of being sore but I liked the arm and breath syncing at the end. Sorry to hear this will be the last one. Going to need to really savour it!
