Yay! It's day 0 and the video is up ( at 6.03 for me). Let's do this! What a lovely gentle way to start. See you all tomorrow when we actually do a little bit of yoga.

Is there a consensus on what we are going to do next? Are we doing Centre again or are we doing Move? Or a mixture of both?

I'm interested in the answer to this! I want to carry on, but don't want to go it alone as I've found this group invaluable for motivation and support.
Whatever is decided, I'm in!!

I think we are undecided. But definitely carrying on. No I'd prefer to do CENTER again, but am happy to have both on the go

I said Move earlier but actually today was lovely and a bit more energetic so I am happy with either.

I think I said I'd be happy to alternate earlier in in the thread. I prefer Move, but definitely liked parts of Center, and have already repeated day six. I'd be happy with repeating either.

Id quite like to try Move. My weight has crept up recently i need to get a hold on it, need to lose half a stone. Do you think Yoga can help with this ? Maybe something a bit more challenging ?

I used tp do a lot of running and high impact exercise but my knees wont take it anymore so thats out, think i might start doing pilates again as well. I do walk my dogs for an hour or so daily as well

I think the important part is the daily or regular practice.

I found that even half hearted yoga improved my mood
and energy levels. I think that center is encouraging to clear old mindsets in a weird way. And I find that useful.

what I’m also trying to
learn from Adrienne is that deliberate intent. Even when she makes sure her blanket and pillow are just so. Whereas I tend to be chaotic and therefore I think unsettled and not quite right. And because Center is slower and more mindful it helps towards that goal.
I hope that makes sense!

I think I will repeat center. I like the short length. It's much more manageable for me.

Today's was a bit of a struggle. I got disturbed a couple of times, plus as someone else said, the flow was quite fast and I found I was a bit behind.

I enjoyed today, definitely more challenging! I'd prefer to do move after this but would definitely like to keep up an every day practice.

I thought from the email this morning it would be a gentle breathing one …. But I was wrong. Having said that I really enjoyed it although nearly collapsed on the last of the press ups.

Just done 25 and 26 together. I didn’t much care for 25 although I do like pigeon. I enjoyed 26 but I skipped some of the cobra - I know it’s one I need to work on but I hate it.

I've just noticed tommorow is called 'yin'. Not my favourite, I usually fidget and get distracted during yin yoga but should be a relaxing stretchy one.

I also like the idea of alternating. This is the first one I've done so would love to try move as it'll be different but then return to centre to see how I've improved.

Still recovering from covid so I haven't completed Center and would like to continue with it when I come back to the mat. It is great reading everyone's comments so I feel like I am still part of the group. I think we could support doing both Center and Move and keep the team spirit going in February.

Thank you @daisychain01 yes, I can now see how cobra will help camel, II'm not great at cobra so can see why camel is tricky for me. I will practice cobra more.

I initially thought I wanted to try something more physical in February, however, as a newbie, I'm going to do Centre again, the mindfulness is really helping me in my daily life, people are even commenting.

I did day 25 this afternoon, didn't have time to do day 26. Maybe I'll catch up tomorrow, or Sunday! Determined to finish the 30 days on time this year.

I enjoyed it, love a good Pigeon.

I'm another who'd like to have a second shot at Center before moving on to Move. I'd like to see how much progress I've made, because I definitely found some of the poses in the earlier videos quite challenging.

Such a stressful week this week I was glad to see Friday night. I really enjoyed today. I really like a good flow!

I missed yesterday so will try and do double on Sunday I can't believe I'm going to finish this pretty much in January. Never done that before. I think I'll do centre again as the length makes it manageable.

Initially I thought I really wouldn’t take to Center after move but I like it. Both have merit. And I think she’s v clever in the build up of the programme and gives access for the year.
