Yay! It's day 0 and the video is up ( at 6.03 for me). Let's do this! What a lovely gentle way to start. See you all tomorrow when we actually do a little bit of yoga.

Only did half of day 22 as I was under time pressure due to DD having a sleepless night. But I will add it to tomorrow. Oh well

@arcadia ( and everyone) as always you can pay what feels good and get a downloadable version of the 30 day challenge here. I just did it and paid 99 cents. I always buy them each year to have in case we go into hospital ( DD has several chronic illnesses and reasonably often has to go in. But fingers crossed not for almost a year!) usually I pay £10. And they are all there ready to use. I won't use them from there unless I'm not at home. But it's great to have them in one place

Today’s was my favourite so far. I’m being won around to this 30 days. Thinking I might alternate this one and Move over the next year.

I can definitely feel my core strengthening, which is satisfying as it’s been a longer more gentle process than doing hardcore sit-ups, but still has an effect!

I combined the octopus saving session and ywa! Had it running in my phone, lit by candlelight.

Was surprisingly good!

Aching abs from yesterdays session so it must be doing something. Side planks used to be good at them but not done anything for a while, was a bit wobbly but got through it.

Been finding sitting cross legged painful , tight inner thighs need some stretching i think

Day 22, Align, was amazing. I absolutely loved it. My lizard is really improving - my hips must be getting more flexible. The dancer one was quite hard! But good. I did struggle to keep my gaze soft today, I think there was too much going on so I gave up. It's fine - these things take time.

I felt so tall in that first mountain pose - I was worried my head would hit the ceiling! I wonder if anyone's posture has improved so much through yoga they have actually got taller.

I reckon you can gain about an inch in height @ScottishBeth i felt that tonight!

it really was a lovely session, I could have repeated it twice over. I may do it again tomorrow with tomorrow's session as well.

After a horrible day at work I was very tempted to give yoga a miss tonight but after reading how much everyone enjoyed todays practice I think I’ll give it a go. Maybe it’ll cheer me up!

Loving your comments about day 22 - I didn't exactly love it but it was definitely more challenging and therefore rewarding !

I found dancers pose impossible and got a bit frustrated.

I am annoyed that I haven't kept up with posting more as it helps me reflect and remember which sessions I want to repeat .

We haven't done much pigeon this series have we ?

I felt like I was playing twister at some points but I enjoyed it! I feel very stretched.

@Shinyandnew2022 I don’t have any balance at all so I focus on just lifting one leg. I dream of working my way up to dancer! You mentioned about posting on here so you can reflect back - I keep a diary (just a normal 2023 one) & each day I write a little about what I thought about the practice (I do it as soon as I finish). Maybe you’d enjoy that

Day 22 done. Loved the horizon lunge and could feel yesterday’s practice in my abs at times today. My balancing was fine in dancer but I could feel the stretch all the way up my side ribs and it was a bit uncomfortable so I didn’t hold the pose as long as Adriene did. One to come back to I think.

Just finished Day 22, much later than other days, but my abs have ached all day, and I wasn't really in the mood for yoga today, but it was great. Managed Dancers post better on my right than my left, but it really makes the muscles around my outside ankles ache, almost burn. I do not look graceful or like a dancer 😆

@happytobemrsg you have inspired me. I'm going to repeat Center or Move when this is done (whatever the consensus is here, as its nice to share with everyone). And I'm going to make a spread in my bullet journal to make a note on it.

Loved today though a bit wobbly in the standing splits but that’s okay. I can do side plank! Couldn’t at the start. And I still have a wobbly belly but you can see a bit of abs definition! Yay. No one but me will ever see it mind you!

I kept a spreadsheet last year for Move so I could see the progress each month side by side. I should do that again.
My abs are feeling it today after the last two days.

@Sooverthemill that must be so rewarding! Today's was more of a challenge than I anticipated. She lured us in the end of last week with some gentle ones and I feel like it's kicking up this week!
I struggle with side planks as my arms and shoulders are weak, only managed a few seconds each side.
@VerbenaView I was admiring how graceful Adrienne is in her dancers pose. I too was nothing like her, wobbly and my arms were not graceful. However, as Adrienne says, we showed up and gave it a try.

Enjoyed today. Managed side plan without a knee down so I was pleased. Can feel very very low abs a lot. Especially in lunch when they are stretching out
