Day 19. Short but taxing. Triangle is difficult for me. But it's so much easier to remember which day I am on if I keep to the schedule. Looking forward to the next 10 days - seeing new routines and completing the month.

guinnessguzzler · 19/04/2022 14:45

Really struggling to fit it in these last few days and am noticing my sleep quality reducing with lots of strange dreams and waking multiple times so I need to get back on it. Unfortunately a busy few days coming up so hoping to at least fit in some bedtime sessions if nothing else.

UnaOfStormhold · 19/04/2022 17:05

Day 18 is a lovely practice, so nice to really focus on the sensations.

BestIsWest · 19/04/2022 19:54

19 done and without blocks again. I even managed a few mountain climbers. I am so chuffed! I can’t go from downward dog to lunge though.

Sooverthemill · 20/04/2022 09:29

Today I did a yoga with kassandra short stretch as I was short on time ( despite being woken up by my dog barking at 5.23!) it was very nice .

Day 20 and 21 today as I know I will have no time tomorrow. I am no longer repeating - it is all new. Jogging while doing plank takes it to another level!

BestIsWest · 20/04/2022 17:36

Day 20 done. Had to resort to blocks for plank jogging.

Sooverthemill · 21/04/2022 08:51

Did day 22 as no way was I ready for day 21! Really nice practice

OP posts:
BestIsWest · 21/04/2022 19:01

At least 21 is mercifully short.

SunUpSunDown · 21/04/2022 19:13

Day 21 done so still on track here...completed after dinner, as I left the house this morning at 0515 for work, and couldn't face getting up early enough to do it before work. Let's just say this one half an hour after dinner was not a smart decision 😁 @BestIsWest I was so glad it was only 12 minutes!

I shall look forward to Day 22 now which I will probably do on Saturday.

Shannith · 23/04/2022 10:08

Great to see everyone is still moving along and improving.

I've been all over the place - I missed a few days and really felt it so did a few a day to get me back on track and I seem to have got ahead of myself again just about to do day 26. I blame 3 sodding weeks of Easter holidays for me not knowing what day:date it is!

Even missing a few days I felt stuff as anything. It really shows that for me daily practice is essential.

I'm definitely stronger (this is my 3rd month) and can attempt everything now. It's fixed my clicky shoulder (smashed collarbone)

Shannith · 23/04/2022 10:11

@BestIsWest well done - that's brilliant progress. It's taken me ages to go from anything to high lunge and my right leg is still a bit like bambi but it's getting there - so gradually I hardly notice it and suddenly realise I'm dodging a dog/scratching my nose in a position I could not do at all.

Shannith · 23/04/2022 10:16

Also a friend commented on my posture being massively improved (it was dreadful due to the smashed collar bone) and I was so happy.

I can now actually get my shoulders back without pain! Amazing.

Shannith · 23/04/2022 10:42

Just did day 27 (told you I'm all out of sync!) I think I'd blocked out/forgotten that one but I managed all of it and even for the first time got what she was going on about engaging different bits. Before I was just wobbling and thinking no way will I ever do this properly.

Once again I'm amazed by how she builds through the month so that suddenly I can do things I could not do at all 3 months ago.

I'll shut up now Smile

BestIsWest · 23/04/2022 10:52

@shannith 27 is the hardest one of all! Well done.

Rummikub · 23/04/2022 15:29

I did day 21 today as I couldn’t remember where I was up to. I’ve missed a bit over the Easter hols.
bloody hell it hurt! Relieved it was short.

Shannith · 23/04/2022 10:16

fab your friend noticed posture - mine has reverted back without the daily practice.

Shannith · 23/04/2022 15:41

@Rummikub without daily practice I revert back to bad habits - but over time I've noted fed that my worst posture moments are still better than my best posture moments 3 months ago- if that makes sense.

@BestIsWest thanks. Yes I'd completely forgotten that 27 is put your money where your mouth is time. I rather enjoyed it this time around!

Rummikub · 23/04/2022 16:07

@Shannith yes agree that my posture is still better than beginning of year.

is this why dancers have brilliant posture?

OopNorfDahnSarf · 23/04/2022 16:59

Hello everyone. Day 22 & 23 today. Muscles feeling quite well used. I liked Day 23 until the last twist at the end which left me quite confused as to where all my limbs were supposed to go. I did Warrior 3. Hurray.! It will be interesting to do Day 23 again in a month and see if it all falls into place.

Sooverthemill · 23/04/2022 17:15

I forgot to post ( hating new site). Day ahead and on day 24.
good for my body which is still knackered.
what are we doing next month?

OP posts:
BestIsWest · 23/04/2022 19:20

23 done.
I’m probably going to continue with Move next month.

SunUpSunDown · 23/04/2022 20:19

I've just done Day 23. I very nearly didn't...worked today with an early start, and also had some rather horrible news, so felt like having a couple of large glasses of wine when I got in the door. Hubby hadn't picked any up though, so I did yoga instead and actually, it was just what I needed.

OopNorfDahnSarf · 24/04/2022 14:50

Sorry to hear you have had some bad news.

Day 24 was hard for me. Yesterday I could do warrior 3. Now I wobble like a jelly. Onwards to Day 25.

BestIsWest · 24/04/2022 17:43

@SunUpSunDown sorry you have had bad news.

24 hard here too. Am no good at balancing as my ankles are hypermobile but I did manage it for a few breaths.
