Aah, so cute @Shinyandnew2022 ! Have a very busy weekend but planning on keeping up so should get to Day 2 later on.

Rifling · 02/04/2022 13:54

Day 2 was hard too! The problem with redoing Move is that when Adriene says something like "it's only day 2 don't worry if you can't do it", I feel like shaking my fist at the screen and shouting "It's day 82 and I still can't do it!!"

Rummikub · 02/04/2022 13:56

😂😂⬆️
Yes very true
But I do think that’s cos we notice the nuances a bit more so it will always be hard?

BestIsWest · 02/04/2022 17:40

Day 2 done. Mercifully a bit easier than day 1. But not much.

SunUpSunDown · 02/04/2022 18:59

I managed Day 2 this morning! DH and I are away this weekend for a short break, and I've brought my yoga mat with me as I'm determined not to fall behind.

Rifling · 02/04/2022 19:43

Good thinking about taking the yoga mat! I'm going on holiday mid-month, will pack mine!

UnaOfStormhold · 02/04/2022 21:18

Completed day 2 which is good. I compared my heart rate to the last time I did day 2 pre covid; my average heart rate was exactly the same, my max heart rate a little lower. I did take a few slightly easier options (e.g. a few half planks) which probably helps, but this is hopefully a good sign for my recovery. And it's handy to have a bit of a benchmark to compare with.

Jumbojem · 02/04/2022 22:53

Hello all, very impressed with those of you who are on month 4 and kept it up since Jan. I was on the January thread and Move was the first time I ever managed to complete the 30 day challenge (I started for several years previously). Felt great and intended to carry on, but picked up a bad hip from running/ busy at work/ life generally meant Feb and March didn't happen for me yoga wise. However, I restarted Move at the end of March so hoping to rejoin you!
After 2 months out Day 1 was hard and I'm so annoyed at myself losing the gains I'd made. Should have done Day 6 today but think I'll do 6 and 7 tomorrow as I know 6 is abs and I think 7 is the super chill one so will be nice to do afterwards. I can't manage every day so hope by doubling up on some days I can keep pace with the rest of you.
I could do it every day if I actually followed through on my get up early intention but often the best sleep I have is between 6 and 7a.m so I'm loathe to give it up!

Rummikub · 02/04/2022 23:14

It’s a tough choice yoga or sleep
And currently sleep is winning
But there’s a little niggle in my brain that’s saying msybe the yoga is better than 30 mins extra sleep. Now I’ve written that down it seems very likely true! Just need to act on it..

guinnessguzzler · 02/04/2022 23:57

Go for it @Rummikub!

That's impressive @SunUpSunDown We are going away soon and I plan to do the same. I enjoyed Day 2 today, just need to make sure I fit Day 3 in tomorrow!

Sooverthemill · 03/04/2022 09:03

Day 3 under my belt. Lovely stretchy one which I needed after bad night sleep ( all my own fault). @Rummikub Grin

@Shinyandnew2022 that is so cute re your daughter.

Managed Day 3...the cabin we are staying in was COLD when we woke up, so I had to light the log burner and wait for it to warm up before I attempted yoga. Then I sweated instead Blush The dreaded slide planks appeared today. I always, always, always struggle with those!

OopNorfDahnSarf · 03/04/2022 10:55

Day 3 done. I felt more comfortable with the side planks this time.

Shannith · 03/04/2022 12:48

Hello everyone - yay back for another month. I dropped off the last thread but carried on with the yoga.

I've somehow managed to get ahead of myself - I'm sometimes doing two back to back if I find the first one hard.

I've just done day 5 and 6. I can do day 6 fine now (but I do additional core Adrienne vids) but I think I'd blocked the last 2 times out.

Now way could I have done that from a standing start!

I still have mornings when I'm like why the hell am I still so stiff and then just when I feel like giving up I have a day like today when I can feel it all coming together.

Rummikub · 03/04/2022 14:47

Day 2 done
I did the transitions from cobra to plank to downward dog without collapsing in between!! It felt good when I realised.
I do like that she gives praise for just showing up.

Rifling · 03/04/2022 17:37

@sunupsundown Very jealous of your cabin even if it was cold! @Rummikub well done! I managed the side planks on my good side! (Can't support weight on other arm). I have written down that tomorrow's is nice and flowy so should be good!

BestIsWest · 03/04/2022 17:39

Day 3. Didn’t manage the side plank but managed the rest. As she says, it’s not how it looks, it’s how it feels. Which is just as well.

Well done on the transitions @Rummikub.

Rummikub · 03/04/2022 18:32

Thank you everyone. I’m still pleased 😀

@rifling is that day 4 that’s the nice one?

Rifling · 03/04/2022 18:54

Yes, day 4.

Rummikub · 03/04/2022 19:01

That’s good to know
Something to look forward to

WorriedMutha · 03/04/2022 22:26

I only stumbled upon this thread today so I've just done day 1. I will have a few days doubling up. I do a real life class but have never really had the commitment to keep it going at home with a YouTube option. I liked Adrienne's style and pace and hope that joining the mn crew will keep me engaged.

stillherenow · 04/04/2022 07:49

I found 3 hard and the backs of my arms are achy today ! Glad to hear 4 is nice!

SunUpSunDown · 04/04/2022 09:43

Day 4 done. I didn't sleep so well last night (wretched period pain), and I was tempted to wait until we got home. DH though offered to clean up the cabin while I did my yoga, so I had no excuse to put it off!

Sooverthemill · 04/04/2022 10:43

@WorriedMutha welcome. This thread has been excellent for my motivation and keeping me going Z
I love the teeny tiny improvement, I did the tick tick heels thingy so easily today when other times I’ve fallen over! But I confess I only did half of day 4 today. Was knackered and hungry will try to add it tomorrow

Can I ask please if this would be suitable for an inflexible, overweight beginner?
