It's day 23 and there are just 7 days of Dedicate left. Well done yogis for getting onto the mat in your own way and at your own pace. We’re here to support each other as we yoga to the end of Dedicate, through to Feb and beyond.

Destiel I tied myself in knows doing this as well. I just stood with my hands together in the end and concentrated on my legs.
I can't believe that we're nearly at the end. Well done fellow yogis 🧘🏼‍♀️

eurochick · 30/01/2019 14:27

I did day 28 last night but I missed day 27. I've been so tired for the past two evenings I really wasn't in the mood for an energetic session. I'll catch it up when I have some morning yoga time.

Destiel · 30/01/2019 14:27

Tomorrows is quite long I think?

May have to wait til later on...

whitershadeofpale · 30/01/2019 15:36

I'm going to do day 29 in a little while. Tomorrow I'm out until late and it's long so think I'll get up early to do it. Really want to finish in January.

Just going back to the last thread I got the fabletics stuff today and I'm really impressed with the quality. I'm not going to have things every month but I signed up as a VIP and will get some more bits at some point.

coffeecow · 30/01/2019 17:35

Interesting to hear that about fabletics @whitershadeofpale I've been tempted by some of their bits for a while! Might take the plunge!

DeadBod · 30/01/2019 18:11

I've wondered about Fabletics. I thought that you signed up for monthly purchases, have I just made that up? Can you buy as and when?

whitershadeofpale · 30/01/2019 18:23

You can buy as and when but it’s more expensive. If you sign up then on the 1st of the month they email you your selection for that month and if you want it then on 6th you get charged £44, if not you skip that month and don’t pay anything. If you’re never going to order anything else or not for a while then you just cancel your membership.

AugustRose · 30/01/2019 18:59

Haven't done today as I just don't feel up to it, my nose is streaming constantly so I am a little disappointed. I might try the one for when your are sick later if I feel a bit better. It's also absolutely freezing here (Cumbria) and my house it cold at the best of times, I think it's about -3 outside at the minute.

Tomorrow will be the free flow session if she is following her usual plan so I suppose I can miss it, although I always feel slightly emotional when we reach the end.

GreenHatHacker · 30/01/2019 20:44

Lots of variety in Day 29. I enjoyed it, though still have to hang onto the wall for balances - think those are just going to have to go on my 'need lots of practise' list!

chutneypig · 30/01/2019 21:04

I did enjoy Day 29, nice to have a flow in there. I’m going to try and get the longer session in tomorrow morning, I’ve been a bit tired in the evenings this week and I want to finish properly!

daisychain01 · 30/01/2019 22:16

I did manage to squeeze in Day 29, it was touch and go though, as I didn't get home from work until 7pm and was tired and hungry. I thought I'd start and if I felt rubbish I'd stop and rerun it tomorrow. I saw it through and it was a nice session (minimum waffle), nice flowing postures even a bit of light aerobics jogging on the spot which was handy as my feet were like blocks of ice from start to finish.

Feeling sad knowing tomorrow is the last Day Sad

coffeecow · 30/01/2019 22:23

Enjoyed Day 29. A nice varied practice. Can't believe tomorrow is the last day. This is the longest I've stuck religiously to anything exercise related! Proud of us!

noodlezoodle · 31/01/2019 04:03

I didn't really enjoy day 29 and I'm not sure why. The forward folds hurt my back and the chair poses hurt my knees, my body is not happy today. Ended up getting pretty frustrated and then couldn't focus properly in Eagle pose and kept toppling over, grrrr. I suppose that just means more practice required. I think on Friday I'll be throwing in a bit of yoga for sore backs!

No idea really what to expect tomorrow, I've never made it to day 30 before! Intrigued by the posts saying she usually does freestyle on the last day.

chutneypig · 31/01/2019 07:51

I’m done Smile I was a little nervous of the free flow but got into it more than I thought. There were sections where I couldn’t see the screen well and it did make me feel a little anxious and not settled into it. But by and large there were good flows you could get into.

One thing I did notice was how my breathing was coming more naturally and I’m sure I didn’t feel like that after the original 30 days. That was a bit positive for me.

If you do follow Adriene I found it a really good session for strength and stretching.

Really looking forward to seeing what everyone else thinks. Also a heads up it’s 37 minutes, not as long as I’d thought, helped fitting it in.

Destiel · 31/01/2019 09:26

Day 39 done:)
I've fitted it on this morning as I was worried I wouldn't do it otherwise.
It was good, but I found it harder without her instructions.
My transitions are still so clunky/graceful!! :(
Thank you all for your company...day 1 of care tomorrow! :)
X

Cherrypi · 31/01/2019 10:14

Yay got to the end! Think this is the first exercise goal I've ever achieved. I really didn't like not having instructions and have cricked my neck looking at the screen at the wrong angle.

quirkychick · 31/01/2019 10:31

Managed Day 24 and 25 but went easy on the squats. The Lizard twists were tricky, I couldn't dip as well, I just don't have the hip flexibility (yet).

Destiel · 31/01/2019 13:59

Me too cherry!

juniperjune · 31/01/2019 15:22

Hooray! Made it to the end :-) I prefer it with more instruction but it was a nice ending. What's everyone's plan for Feb?

Cherrypi · 31/01/2019 15:47

I’m going to try and keep it up but miss the occasional day. I’m going to use videos from her February playlist.

Habadabadoo · 31/01/2019 16:23

Yay I made it too !
Completely agree @Cherrypi
Well done everyone,
Namaste 🙏

DeadBod · 31/01/2019 17:07

Yes!! Completed it. Feeling pleased that I've managed to fit a session in each day. I was watching on my tablet so it was hard to complete some moves whilst trying to keep my eye on the screen. I might do the final day again now I know what to expect.
I've been saving a few videos that I've spotted after watching Adriene so I might have a go at those in February. I'm planning on doing them in between my gym days.
We could put some recommendations on here perhaps?

juniperjune · 31/01/2019 17:31

That's a good idea Deadbod I'm definitely going to try the Five Parks mentioned earlier. I think I'll follow the Feb Adrienne calendar then swap in some other ones based on recommendations. I think I'll have a go at another of Adrienne's 30day ones later on the year too (assuming I keep up with the yogaing!)

whitershadeofpale · 31/01/2019 18:26

Yay! I’ve finished too. I prefer more guidance but I like that it was quicker and feel proud of myself to have furnished- it’s the first time I’ve ever finished something like this.

I’ll be carrying on from tomorrow. I have my driving test tomorrow (if the weather doesn’t call it off), can anyone recommend a good video to beforehand to get me in a good frame of mind?

Destiel · 31/01/2019 18:28

Goodl luck! X
