Thank you @quirkychick like you, I definitely feel all jangled up, but 48 hours on, I absolutely agree that it's so much better not having the tooth there, it was crowding my mouth at the back. Having the space feels wonderful! Weirdly the other side isn't a problem so hopefully I won't need to go through this again.
I've eaten leak and potato soup and purée vegetables (parsnip, potato one day, and potato, broccoli yesterday). Today it's mushroom and tomato I think, DH has been messing around in the kitchen since Friday, the food processor came in handy! Apparently I look less pale and sorry for myself so the food is helping!
I'm missing my daily yoga fix so much, can't wait to get back, I just have to avoid any down dog and anything dynamic that increases the blood flow and basically makes my face throb!
Observation about Day 30, I really think Adriene needs to consider doing a voiceover, otherwise what's the point. It was a lovely sequence she did, but I wanted to follow what she was doing not make up my own routine, otherwise what was the point of having the vid going, I could have just put my own background music on and done it separately. As it was, it became very frustrating craning my neck wanting to follow her vinyasa, and really not getting the benefit of the practice. Had she done a simple voice over, just a few prompts when she transitioned from one sequence to the next, I would, and I'm sure other would too, have easily been able to use the knowledge from the previous 29 days to have kept up with what she was doing by listening to her prompts and following her flow. I will rerun Day 30 a few times and see if I can get to knowing it by heart, because the sequences were lovely.
I'm aiming to resume by doing all of the 30 days (the original series) in about 4-5 days time, if anyone wants to join me in that. Hope y'all having a good Feb and keeping those snuffles and coughs at bay. I desperately need to avoid cold bugs, apparently after tooth extractions you mustn't blow your nose for at least 2 weeks due to risk of disrupting the extraction site. Eeek.
