Who's up for a thread to discuss our progress this year? We've had threads following Adriene's 30 days of Yoga for the last few years so sign up now for January.

Based on the last few years I'll warn you now: watch out for day 6!!!!

Day 1 done oh I'm soooooo stiff, I have fibromyalgia and a very weak pelvis and hips (always in pain) found sitting cross legged really sore and difficult, as we're shaking, whole body moaning but took it really slow.

Day 1 done- feel so much better for it, but God I'm so inflexible now! Haven't done any exercise for about 4 months, and my poor legs were screaming!

Right - I'm in. Will try and do this later with the teens (one does a weekly yoga class already and both are so much braver and more flexible than me - so I'll need to be reminding myself yoga is a personal journey and not a competition...!)

Day 1 done here. I do regular yoga anyway so day one of 30 days always feels very gentle but it does get harder! I'll just be doing 3 yoga sessions a week when life gets back to normal come Thursday but may sometime do a double session to keep up or I'll be way behind you all. The videos come out at 8am each morning our time and Adriene lives in Texas.

Ive just done the first one and my goodness I feel creaky. I used to be so much fitter and bendier than this! Those warrior poses were hard on my legs-so glad this programme is running.

I did it and enjoyed as usuallly.
I found adriene in December or November and love her.
My nemesis(es) are stepping up from plank to lunge (cant bring my knee up!), balance (getting better) wrists, along with many more!

Ooh I was hoping there would be a thread - Day 1 done. This is the first time I am starting on day 1 having only discovered Adriene last year, hoping for some better balance as I haven't done any yoga for a few weeks and eaten far too much Smile

I haven't practised yoga for about 10 years. Day 1 done! Absolutely no surprise that I found the Downward Dog HARD! I've really weak wrists and dreadful tension in my shoulders/upper back so it makes me feel sort of smushed up and a bit panicky Confused. Hey ho. I shall persevere though. Thankfully, I have short sturdy legs so I enjoyed the warrior poses!

Please can I join? Love Adrienes videos and used to be a regular. Due to one thing and another haven't done anything for a few months so really want to get back into it. I am rubbish in the evenings so will be starting tomorrow morning a day behind.

Day 1 done. Later than I hoped, but it was better than I expected when I struggled to sit on the mat. My joints creaked! Confused
The time went by very quickly.

I enjoyed it and one day my downward dog will sort of resemble hers. Right now I dread to think what I look like and I had to keep sinking to my knees but I did it and that's all that matters really.
I love her attitude too, makes me smile :)

Just signed up and done Day 1, feeling surprisingly stiff now for such a short session! Clear, easy to follow, and am now feeling very smug!

Started 30 day program on 1/1/18 and really like her teaching style, I can't get to a class at the moment and this is a good substitute.

Enjoyed that. Shame it’s not out till 8am but I’m sure I will end up at least one behind at some point then I can start doing it before breakfast.
