Who's up for a thread to discuss our progress this year? We've had threads following Adriene's 30 days of Yoga for the last few years so sign up now for January.

Based on the last few years I'll warn you now: watch out for day 6!!!!

I’m a bit behind first week back was busier than I expected or planned for. Completed day 8 this morning. Enjoyed the gentle stretching. It felt like a gentle restart. Let’s see how I do this week.

Day 13. First one I had to push myself to start-all a bit meh today.

Thought it was good but still hate those hip rolls.
I don't think I am doing them right and not sure how to fix that Confused

Day 13 was hard! Maybe because my quads were already killing me.

Up to about 1/2 way through I was looking at myself in the mirror and thinking I looked good, then it got harder and I looked like all kinds of wrong.

Loved the wide legged forward bend though.

I love the strong days but those hip dips are brutal, hips were sore from yesterday. Day 13 complete.

Did 11. 12 and 13 today so totes up to date. Loved the last two.

I am keeping up with the yoga and doing dry Jan, I am also eating cake like it's going out of fashion but hey ho, swings and roundabouts.

Just a day behind. Did Day 12 and really liked it. What's 13 like? Ok pre bed or a bit more energy required? I would like to get up to date if possible.

I found Day 13 quite hard - it’s not a relaxing one so maybe not just before bed. Tomorrow’s is meant to be relaxing - no help for tonight though. Last few days were good but I’m sore - my shoulders especially and no doubt the abs in a day or two. A calmer practice tomorrow is needed!

Can anybody else not “plant your hands” in forward lunge?

By the time my boob meets my thigh on the forward leg side I just cannot get the palm of my hand down flat.

Is there are trick to this (except lose some boob and thigh fat or grow my forearms)???

museumum I'm the same as you, and for the same reason. I can just get my fingertips to the ground but not flat hands.

mum I have a raging appetite at the mo, luckily i am active and not drinking helps. I'm aware that you can't out exercise a crap diet so need to get it in check soon. Maybe next week...

I did 12 in the end and found it really hard. I was going to go on to 13 but if that’s hard too, I’m glad I didn’t.

Hi everyone,
I did day 11 earlier today. As with some other days I think I’m not having time to work out what she’s doing in time to push the poses to their max so it’s not as hard as it should be. Oh well! Otherwise I’m really happy that I’m doing something every day.

I did days 12 and 13 together this evening and enjoyed them. There was a bit too much talking in the day 13 video - I did feel like telling Adriene to get on with it at points.

I sometimes rewind her if I get a bit behind. Or just pause for a bit.

Did day 13 last night. Cant do those hip dip things at all, feel like I'm going to put my back out! But the rest was OK.

Am just really enjoying setting aside that 25 mins or so each day. The yoga isn't all that intense but I feel like doing it every day might be having a positive effect. I am really hoping after the 30 days is over I will keep on with a little bit of yoga each day, probably just picking other videos from Adrian's channel.

I dont mind those hip dip things but anyone else find thaat goddess pose at the beginning really hard?! Especially as she was talking loads, I was like "come on Adriene count us down, I'm fucking dying here!"

Day 13, here too. Glitter I was thinking that during the goddess pose too!

Those hip dips are really tricky Thehair (I don't remember those from her other ones or maybe I've blotted it out), I can do a few, but not that many! My lower back is a bit sore today, so maybe it's from those yesterday. I did some side planks instead.

After the last two days I needed something more gentle and 14 is that, but it's very slow and a bit odd. My sides are sore after 12 + 13

14 is very chilled. I didn’t find the rolling on the side very pleasurable though anyone else? Had a look through her back catalogue. There’s so much choice. Not sure what I’m going to do after True is finished. Maybe start it again?
