Who's up for a thread to discuss our progress this year? We've had threads following Adriene's 30 days of Yoga for the last few years so sign up now for January.

Based on the last few years I'll warn you now: watch out for day 6!!!!

Another late day for me but had to fit day 11 in between things, I prefer the longer sessions.

Just did day 11 - quick and stretchy. I do prefer the harder ones, although I am enjoying how supple I feel.

Just done day 11. I wasn’t in the mood for it and didn’t enjoy it as much as I had hoped.

Day 11 done. A nice quick stretchy one, suited me today to be honest as have been really busy today and not much time to squeeze it in!

Day 11 done here, too. I definitely feel more flexible today, held pigeon for a bit before reverting to cross-legged forward fold (couldn't do it at all the other day) and managed lizard with no block, for the first time in ages Smile.

I enjoyed day 11. I did it after a hard gym class so enjoyed the stretch. I have tight hips so any opportunity to get into pigeon or lizard pose is a welcome one!

I've done day 12 and found that quite hard, shaking and sweating by the end and I struggle with that hip dipping move. Still, I did it all and that's what counts Smile

Yep-I just did day 12.
My legs were a bit sore today but did run on cross trainer yesterday for first time in a while so it could have been that-

I found that hip dipping move in Day 12 hellish. I am sure I looked like a whale lugging sacks of potatoes from side to side...
And not in a good way Grin

But liked it overall!

I am so behind. Had a hideous week of sickness this week, we've had at least person in the family off school or work every day. So I'm only on day 8 here. Admittedly the gentle stretching was probably required. Then watched the last episode of Little Women with DD2 which was lovely (although it made me cry as well obviously).

I've done 10 and12 today. 12 was tough! I'm finding it so much easier to move between moves, though!

I'll do 11 later to relax.

I'll miss tomorrow and Monday as I won't have any time or space but I should be able to catch up by next weekend.

My (new) goal is to finish on time, so.... Smile

As another who struggles to get my foot to the front of the mat from downward dog, I spent some time today watching Youtube videos giving tips on how to achieve it.

The practice recommended to get you there, is harder than the move itself. Confused

I didn’t notice the clock, but I remember to listen more that I watch as I use my phone.

Has anyone attempted Day 13 yet? I am just back from a horrible wet and windy run and can’t decide whether I dare do it now or leave it until later.

Day 11, the warriors on one side were tough, slightly twingy ankle from an old injury, but managed all the same. My hips felt stiff when I started, but were fine once I got going.

Really aching today. Not sure if it's from the spin class I did yesterday or Day 12. Spin doesn't usually make me sore, so I guess it's the yoga!

Just done 12 and 13. Couldn't manage the last lot of hip dips in 13 probably because I did the 2 days together. I liked 13 but probably it will have been better to just do that on its own! Definitely feeling stronger and it's getting easier to get that foot to the front of the mat on my right side. Left isn't so good!
