Anyone signed up to these emails starting on NYD? I started yoga at the beginning of the year and have been surprised at how much I enjoy it, did the 30 days of yoga earlier in the year, and am committed to completing Revolution in real time!

Love Adriene, so gentle and kind. Total girl crush!

I was away too so just did day 7 and 8 tonight and I feel amazing!

Musicianofbremen · 09/01/2017 10:05

I've fallen behind too. Blush Did day 6 yesterday. Still really enjoying it but I think in general I prefer flow style rather than repetitions. It almost feels like Pilates in parts.

Just finished day 10, quite exhausting, wasn't able to manage the crow. Now for a mahoosive pile of ironing before DS wakes up.

BaklavaBalaclava · 09/01/2017 13:05

Am also behind, didn't manage to get day 8 done yesterday. Will do either 8 or 9 tonight after kids in bed. Not sure which one though! Any suggestions?

Wombletor · 09/01/2017 13:20

Baklava I would suggest 9, very relaxing before bed.

Shock no day 8 is relaxing! Not 9

dublinmary · 09/01/2017 21:45

Just managed to get 20 minutes of day 9 done today. I thought I'd be better to do some of it than nothing at all. Tube strike more than doubled my journey time and stress today, so the breathing helped a bit.
Well done all in getting this far, have a good evening.

mostlymindblown · 09/01/2017 22:12

Was getting a bit behind so Day 7 earlier today and Day 8 just now.
Day 8 is lush.
Nighty night Smile

Wineloffa · 09/01/2017 22:15

I loved Day 9! Really enjoying this series so far, Adriene is just fabulous. I've roped some friends into doing it too so good to compare notes with them.

FiftyNineOhEight · 09/01/2017 22:19

I wasn't going to yoga this evening as I was so tired, but I am so glad that I did day 8 before bed Smile

RhinestoneCowgirl · 09/01/2017 22:45

Just did day 8, with DH Shock His back is not in good state, and he has dodgy knees so I've been suggesting for ages he should join me.

Eastpoint · 09/01/2017 22:50

Tube strike and a non-negotiable trip across London made it a very long day, I think I could have reached New York with the amount of time I spent on public transport/walking today (seriously). Finally did Day 9 with the rest of the family in bed. Found I got quite hot in the squat section. I wonder what tomorrow will bring.

carrie74 · 09/01/2017 22:53

Caught up today having done Day 7 when I woke up, then day 9 after my mile run, finishing with day 7, leaving me ready for bed (doing 1.5 hours exercise from 9pm maybe not such a good idea!!).

Go Carrie. Well that went to pot after day 5, my cough turned into a heavy cold (royal style) and I spent Friday to Sunday in bed coughing and blowing my nose. Just done 6, it was tough. I'm so determined not to loose momentum and to get back on track.

Ulysses · 10/01/2017 09:40

Just checking in to say I've completed day 9. I found it quite fast paced, which I actually enjoyed. Yes the squats were a challenge and I only half attempted the crow. I've got a really early start tomorrow so not sure if I'll manage it in the morning so will see what people are saying about day 10 and maybe do it tonight. Am very impressed Carrie! I love the idea of yoga in Regents Park too. I'm away to London next weekend so may try it myself!

Ulysses · 10/01/2017 09:42

Day 7 and 8 are quite gentle Glint so fairly easy to get back into.

CoteDAzur · 10/01/2017 10:40

Hello. May I join you? I've just been to my first yoga class of the year and it's scary how much flexibility I have lost during Christmas break Shock

carrie74 · 10/01/2017 12:58

Go Cote! I'm really enjoying this year's, I think having been doing yoga a bit longer, I generally know what's coming or have an inkling on how a move should feel.

Totally face planted last night in crow, was balanced for a while, then overdid it! No harm done Grin.

Hope you're feeling better soon glint. 7&8 were very achievable but 9 stepped up.

carrie74 · 10/01/2017 13:02

Ulysses, it was nice, but muddy in Regents Park, so I was doing it on the gravel path. Not exactly ideal Grin. But just felt great being outside and stretching in the fresh air after a late night. I NEVER thought I'd say something like that!!

Anyone else getting cross if life is getting in the way of practice? I have to hang around in town tonight as DD is going to a birthday party at 6:30, so no point going home. Contemplated bringing my gym stuff to work, but it was too weird!

Ok I have done four consecutive days of yoga, sessions 1-3, a class yesterday and 4 tonight. It really ripples into the rest of your life doesn't it. I'm eating better and walking everywhere.

Checking in. I missed a session on Sunday and felt quite grumpy all day and annoyed that I hadn't organised my day better. But have caught up today doing day 9 and 10 back to back. Really enjoyed it. Liked the squats but didn't attempt the Crow - that would be madness for me. Feeling empowered and thoughtful.
