Anyone else doing medical transcription at home?

Not much work and low pay but not much choice if you can't go out to work unfortunately.

I've just logged in now and the work situation is dire isn't it? If it's like this now what will it be like around Christmas and New Year!

Has anyone tried to send their invoice for this month. I have tried sending to the accounts email address and it is being returned to me.

@Marlo52 @juju1507 Just a thought - are you using correct email - [email protected]. (I think some people still use the tpro.ie address).

@olddoglover I've never been given another address to use. When were you given one ending ".io"? I've only ever used .ie.

@Gally123 - I don't know! but it is the one I have... On Slack this morning they were saying there was an email last month giving thetpro.io address (I never got an email). But I seem to always have had the tpro.io address!!

@olddoglover Thanks. I'm not on Slack, but usually get emailed info. But not this time. I sent my invoice to the .ie address and it hasn't bounced back - yet! But just to be on the safe side I'll send to the new address as well.

I have just submitted mine on the io and it hasn't come back. I was using the ie like everyone else and then I received an email in September stating we had to use the io and a message about sending the invoice in before the 1st of every month. I thought everyone got that message. Last month I had characters over in QC and they never got added so I lost them. They only amounted to about 3,000 but its not fair as that is nearly £3 I haven't been paid for. I have questioned this and have been told they get carried forward, well mine didn't. Hardly any work again today

Mine has too. It's a bit worrying if the address is coming back as not found.

I’ve sent mine to [email protected] as others have advised and it has sent now 🤞

thanks, I have now sent it okay to the io address, had only previously used an ie address.

I've just sent mine to that email as well and it hasn't been returned. Interestingly, it seems our invoices are now being sent to India.

@ElleBee56 Personally I would call that worryingly rather than interestingly!!! Hope all our jobs aren't going there as well...

I agree. I have wondered for a while whether more work is being sent overseas as the workload has gone down drastically over the past few months!

I agree about the work being sent overseas, it makes sense now where it is going. Even though they pay us pittance they'll probably pay even less over there

So I am a little confused. Nobody has told me to send to io rather than ie. I did send to ie as usual this month so will see what happens. Should the TLs confirm this for us do you think?

@Lucylizzy123 when I tried to send my invoice to .ie it was bouncing back so I’ve sent it to .io this month. I’ve looked through all my emails from them but can’t find one about a change. Maybe checking with them once more would be a good idea.

I was concerned that io/ ie might have messed things up a bit. Tomorrow it is then !!!

I sent mine to .io and messaged NW and he said retry .ie so they’ve had my invoice twice 😬 but I’ve not been paid either. Fingers crossed it’s tomorrow.

Paid earlier this morning 😊

I thought there might be a slighter better start this morning! With the amount of work available it looks like clinics are still cancelled, unless the work is going elsewhere.
