I see Guy's are having IT issues

I had one dictating on a patient called 'F*king Hell' i.e. dictator said 'what's his name?, F*king Hell'. I wonder if I should have typed it. I didn't get feedback stating 'dictated but not typed' - I wonder why, the name was clearly stated 😂

Blimey!! Had a busy day & just finished a 17 letter dictation !! 3 hours of life I won't get back 🙄🙄 Just doing what I can before strike hits the fan !!!

I cannot get into the DICT8 site this morning, there does not even seem to be a log in screen - anyone else have a problem?

Hi I have not been able to log on since 7am either. They clearly have some issues with their servers.

@Doglover61 - glad it is not just me! Having general issues today (fairly new alarm clock deciding not to work).

Can log on OK but what's the point?!?! Quite a few on there but all inaudible crap. Hope they all ask Santa for lessons in dictating clear letters

Managed a couple of letters but last one I had to finish twice!! Now says site cannot be reached🙄🙄

Just phoned Dict8 & a BT problem, some can get on & some can't, said to just keep trying as BT are working on it

bit weird that some people seem able to access and others not.

@Gally123 When I worked for the NHS, sometimes when the servers went down some people were not affected and could carry on working and some people could not get on the system at all. It all depends what server you were on. Could possibly be that some are on a different server on dict8 hence why some can't get on and some people can.

Just had the e-mail 'been on the same task for a while' maybe that last long one I had to finish off another twice didn't go through after all before site crashed !!!!!! (So I can't get in to check it, you silly sods !!!)🙄🙄

I took a task on to do via my phone this morning and have not been able to get it on phone now either. I have just had the said email and have emailed them to tell them to cancel it as it looks like this won't be going on any time soon.

I bet all the hospitals and other clients are just as happy as we are - presumably unable to unload their letters, or get anything typed and back to them before the long weekend etc.

Just emailed them to find out what's going on. Apparently BT, their hosting provider, is having problems and are working on it. Not sure when it's going to be sorted but they say to keep trying. Gonna go and ice my Christmas cake I think.

Has anyone been paid today - I was under the impression (via a phone call to DICT8 some weeks back regarding pay around Christmas and New Year) that if the pay date falls on a bank holiday we would be paid the Friday before ?

@Pinksville i think the pay date is the 2nd of the month, or so I was told by Dict8, so it’s not a bank hol
