@danblack87 - I just think some of them have no idea the work is not typed in house

That's it for me folks I am off to read my book in the garden just cannot contend with any more shite dictation today,

I still think they shouldn't be chatting up via dictation. It's not professional. Flippin eck, they get paid for dictating chat up lines, but we don't even get paid for typing work related messages 😂

@Whitestar55 : I know you were just joking ... it's crazy though - it happens .. let us know when you get one of those weird ones LOL - Leave a gap though so no-one can relate to something you heard that day, if you know what I mean x

I've never heard a chat up dictation ever. Could have fun with it though and type Note to doctor: 'Ok see you later x'

All I get is munching, chomping and burping on my tasks 🤣🤣🤣

I get slurping drinks and yawning, but I probably do that myself while typing too 😂

Good morning everyone. Work is increasing here and dictation is improving. I think most people have ditched work today and gone out in the sun.

Wow the amount of work on is ALOT!

It makes me wonder if the new starters have given up already! 🤔

I hadn’t even thought about that. Last month is struggled to make the amount I was targeting myself and now this week I feel overwhelmed with the work as it’s not goin down at all

Don't worry about the work not going down, the more the better, the only thing that matters is how much money we make from it.

Yeah I think I’m still in the actual nhs secretary mindset of thinking this needs done for my consultant. Just goin to keep plodding along. Thanks for ur encouragement and insight made me Feel better

I am one of those who has taken to reading my book in the beautiful weather. Loads of tasks on but there was a glitch in the system around 1pm so I gave in!!.. Here we go aiming for a midday finish today because it is going to be hot, hot, hot!!!

@danblack87 - I have tried to read a book in my garden - but having my new roof put on - with the scaffolding up (complete with boards) it has completely blocked the sun from the house and so it is very cool, even chilly inside - and outside I found a spot with a tiny bit of sun - only to find every time the wind blows (and it has been quite breezy) I get covered in little bits of dust etc. Given up on doing any washing - my rotary line has been blocked off by the workmen dumping stuff underneath it, but even if I moved the stuff my washing would probably end up dirtier than it was to start with. The roofers are doing well, but only working half days in this heat.....I seem to be one of the few not able to enjoy this weather - and it is forecast to rain at the weekend. Hope the plastic covering holds!

@Gally123 I feel for you - it seems to be one thing after another. There is loads of work on but for last 3 days I have stopped to have the afternoon off for sun and relaxation. I am actually above my mindset target @Lindsaychad123 BUT yesterday there was a glitch in the system as I posted my last task of the day - I think it must have got through because there were no reminders 'you have been working on this task for ...' It was a bummer and that decided my afternoon for me. Today my executive decision is not to work at all!!! The weekend weather does not look good so I will work weekend.🤓

@danblack87 - I think at least the situation is improving slightly. I had (a different) plumber out on Wednesday, recommended by local shop and he made sense and was cheaper than the previous plumbers (one who seems to have been a trainee who I do not think should have been let out on his own, could not even read the water meter properly. He said - among other things - my ball valve in the cold water tank was taped up and needed replacing, the chap this week said no, it is the insulation on the side of the tank that has been taped to the top!).

@danblack87 ive worked for a few hours already but going to take it easy today I am at my target so far for the month and there is still 2 weeks til invoice time. I do work weekends from home with another company so do try and do a half day or take it easy on a friday

No sun at all here, just dull and windy, warm though.....

@Lindsaychad123 It is first time I have been ahead in my surmised target. In some ways if the weather wasn't so good I could probably hit an all time high for the first time in two years!! Amazing - so as the weather is good I am just using it as a buffer for relaxation and, no doubt, will hit target for month. The weather is just too good too miss and actually I need some download time too .. All's good. Let's hope the work keeps coming in for the weekend and next week. 😃

@danblack87 ita miserable here so rainy so I’m gonna do a little bit here and there over the weekend get a bit ahead and hopefully it continues into next week x

@Lindsaychad123 I am guessing you live in the north of England. East midlands is blisfully hote. Off for my afternoon of relaxation and hopefully keep up my target over weekend .. though I do have my grand-daughter Saturday afternoon 😄

@Chrissols : Least it not raining for you now and is warm. Apparently where I am, East Midlands, after a blistering day today at 31+ degrees, we are to expect thunderstorms and muchos rain at weekend = bonus - the garden could do with a good watering = I am holding off with the hose pipe. Hope you are okay Chrissols.
