I must be refreshing at the wrong time lol.....seeing absolutely nothing

Anyone busy? I've had one short task amount to the grand total of 80p lol.....

I have done a few but the last couple of days have not been as good as the beginning of the week, mainly due to the poor sound quality of the tasks.

Must admit, yesterday I did not feel like typing much as with the new restrictions on groups more than 6 I think that is my replacement holiday cancelled as I have booked a coach tour.

Still not heard anything from T-Pro about my application that was put on hold before the lockdown.

I'm not @Chrissols! I''ve hardly seen anything this morning - only managed to grab two short tasks so far.

@Poppy379 it's dreadful today isn't it. I picked up really busy yesterday afternoon so hopefully it will do the same today.

@Gally123 You never know, your coach trip may go ahead, I have been told that my holiday to Greece is till going ahead in five weeks (up to now anyway) and the plane will be full, just face masks and not moving around on the plane they said. Having said that, I am braced for it being cancelled........again

@Chrissols My coach trip is booked in this country and with the new rules banning groups of more than 6 and I think there are about 15 people booked, it does not look good.

I did look at a trip to Italy but also with the new rules going through immigration and having to fill in online forms and show them on your phone I cannot do that as I don't have a mobile phone and they don't allow people to do forms any other way (ie print out). I might have been able to do it from laptop going out and maybe show picture on camera, but could not do it coming back into England.

So not too happy, as missed out on holiday this year esp as the other company never bothered to tell me when they cancelled, if they had I might have been able to squeeze a break in.

@Gally123 I never even realised about having to show forms on your phone. My other half does not have a mobile either and we will go through different parts of passport control as his is an EU passport and mine is new which is just a UK passport, hence we will need a phone each I take it.

@Chrissols - I don't want to worry you but I first read about it in the paper where a couple were stopped from boarding a flight to Greece as they did not have the proper paperwork with the barcode thing (forget its proper name). I think it is for the contact and trace. Apparently your airline or travel company are supposed to tell you. I checked up yesterday when I was looking at the Italy trip, you need to do the form 48 hours before you go. Do you definitely need to go through different passport control? Check the website where it gives all the lists of countries where you need or don't need to quarantine and it tells you all about it. It is a bit silly really as they only want details such as name and address/where you are staying, basic information, I am not sure why they insist on online, I supposed papers might get lost, but remembering all the little immigration cards I have filled in previously for Tunisia etc

@Gally123 Yes, we went to Tunisia last year and remember those forms well lol. Glad you mentioned this though as we could be like that couple you mention and stopped from getting on the plane (if it actually goes ahead). Yes, I think we do go through different parts with our passports being different, so will need to get him a phone of sorts before we go. I suppose if it's all online they are saying they don't have to touch it so less chance of infection

Presumably if they carry on like this I will have to get a phone as well, but not rushing now for a holiday (much as I am desperate for a break) as I would not know how to use one!

But it seems wherever you go, even for a day out, if you popped into a pub or restaurant for lunch you need to have made an online booking first. Nightmare.

Well it certainly never got any busier today for me.....feels like a total waste of a day....

Hi, I’ve received my Philips foot pedal from t-pro but now having problems connecting it! I’ve downloaded the drivers but it just won’t seem to work on google chrome....did anyone else have issues?

@Sallycinnamon79 I didn't get mine from T-pro, I just used the one I already had and there were no problems. From what I remember when I installed mine though, I was told Google Chrome was correct as it was up to date. T-pro do have a very good help team though if you contact them.

Thanks @Chrissols I managed to fix it by switching off my firewall so t-pro connect could work. Never been so proud of myself for fixing something

@Sallycinnamon79: Well done, I am a complete technophobe and would not have considered turning of firewall !!

@Sallycinnamon79 haha, don't blame you being proud, I wouldn't have a clue how to turn off/on my firewall.......

Friday was rubbish for me regarding tasks but have managed to gain some ground over the weekend .

My Friday was practically non-existent for tasks. Was out yesterday for a helicopter trip my son treat me to, but haven't seen a single task today. Roll on this week......surely it has to be busier 🥴🥴

Been v. busy today - how about everyone else?

Fortunately I have been busy with others but definitely not busy with Dict8......had a handful of small tasks

I have been busy for the last 3 days. SO all is good here, how about you @Chrissols. I am not sure who is working for T'pro any more or Dict8??!!!

@danblack87 not busy, thought it was going to be this morning, but it dried up at 10.30 lol. Doing a bit for Tpro but find it very difficult with strong accents in specialities I do not know the terminology......
