TT substack: https://tribunaltweets.substack.com/p/tempest-vs-defra-and-rural-payments

Tempest (a TW) is claiming discrimination, harassment and/or victimisation on grounds of gender reassignment. Central to the claim is the existence of the Sex Equality and Equity Network in the Civil Service (SEEN). SEEN has been granted right to intervene. Parts of the original claim against the co-chair of SEEN (Elspeth Duemmer-Wrigley) and another party (Andreas Mueller) were struck out or narrowed. Another claimant, PQ, is no longer part of the case.

I will also note that Elspeth still has a garden in need of seeds and water to support the ability of SEEN to be an intervenor in this case. The claim originated because she said "only women menstruate" and a search with her name and those terms at the usual gardening website should point you to her plot.

Thanks for the mention of gardening earlier in the thread - I will be planting some seeds later.

I was ruminating on this when I went to bed last night as the complete bullshit coming out of ST's mouth has infuriated me so much.

I was so hoping the Supreme Court judgement would provide complete clarity and even though I am not naive enough to think there would be no pushback from the TRA's, did think it would be the beginning of the end of these ridiculous claims/court cases.

I am absolutely sick of taxpayer's money being used by the public sector to try and go against the law to appease deluded men.

Given that not everyone (and by "everyone" I mean women as we are the ones fighting back against this crap) has the resources, strength, support etc to go to court or be able to stand up against this, I wonder if there will become an underground network of women only groups, a sort of "resistance" movement fighting back below the parapet and if they become infiltrated, shut down and set up again until enough cases have gone through the court to stop this complete madness.

I am grateful I work in the private sector (admittedly in a male dominated industry) where this crap would just not be tolerated.

Sorry, this probably rambles and makes no sense as I am a bit tired!
