Don't worry about getting to know the Gerbils' names <whispers> I make them up as I go along, apart from the well-known ones like Gosie the Adventurer, Gubbins the Over-Enthusiastic Triangle Player, etc.

Once it starts with a G, have fun - anything is possible, and thanks to the magic in the Bluey, whatever fanciful name you come up with will in fact be the name of one of the bar-gerbils

We certainly have a gerbil called Gangrene, Marie's right about anything goes!
Recycled image - clearly Gangrene is not only accepted amongst the gerbils, but also loved. Although on second thoughts, Gangrene might be a Staunch Ally gerbil.

Many happy returns @Hedgehogforshort I'm slightly envious, this is a lovely time of year to have a birthday. I love the wild spring flowers. One of my favourites is ladies smock (aka cuckoo flower), they were everywhere in Wales. The lilacs are starting to flower and they smell amazing.

The scales were NOT kind, so I’m off to do soon over enthusiastic weeding at the allotment. Thanks to Golightly the gerbil for the tissues and advice about hand tools.

Dex, the Bluestocking also has a gerbil called Glenda, who is, if I recall correctly, overly-fond of gin. She sometimes needs a (sharp) reminder that she's had three too many already! 😀

I'm so so jealous! Golightly Goswift is my favourite Golypmpian. She has so many gold medals. I go over all giddy whenever I catch even a glimpse of her. And you spoke with her!!!

Should be easier for you, since there's always an extra hand to hold the paper down while two or more others cut & apply the sticky tape. I don't know where you're going wrong.

ETA: You may have to eat those snowballs as comfort food, once you get free.
