Just pointing this out, separate from any threads it may have been mentioned on, so people not involved on those threads can be aware.

Does anyone know where/when it will be published?

Yes to the woman in the green!

she said girls and women are self excluding from sport because of men on their teams

The minister answering questions in the Lords is giving, 'we can't answer in detail about the Code because we're in a period of purdah' quite the outing 🙄 He's also giving us the old, 'it's important that we take the time to get this right', and of course, 'it's important to be kind and compassionate'.

MissGendering · 14/04/2026 14:58

'All women on this side have felt intimidated - death thraets, balaclavas, I've lived this for ten years, there's no two sides - many women in Labour do not have the courage to stand up.' Duffield

So, various things can/will happen with the Code of Practice in May re its laying before Parliament:

  • Phillipson loses her seat - not her problem any more

  • Phillipson retains her seat, but is reshuffled to a different role - not her problem any more

  • Phillipson retains her seat, is not reshuffled - now it's still her problem

  • Phillipson retains her seat, gets involved in (another) leadership bid - kicks problem down the road again

It's all so cynical 🙄

Phillipson won't lose her seat in May. The elections are local.

MissGendering · 14/04/2026 15:01

Is she a TRA or actually a GC undercover? She's making such easily rebutted points

Raquelos · 14/04/2026 15:02

Anyone know who she actually is (the TRA I mean) ? I keep missing her name

MissGendering · 14/04/2026 15:02

Woman in green speaking great sense. Not sure who she is.

'Difference betwren someone with a DSD and a man who wants to call himself a woman.'

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that I think the revision will simply be a bigger range of suggestions about how to provide some gender neutral alternatives, or how to signpost to alternative services nearby, for example. So that most providers can find at least one that works in their situation and enables them to feel certain that they are not discriminating against the PC of GR when they provide a single-sex service based on biology.

Yes, more concrete examples of how you can include a mixed sex or neutral facility, alongside 'single sex' where you have them.

And saying there's no difference between women in NI, women in Scotland and women elsewhere in the UK - loved that bit!

MissGendering · 14/04/2026 15:06

Somebody Mohammed up now. I think Labour? Issue has been weaponised. Confusion that we are debating what a woman is in 2026.

Kinsters · 14/04/2026 15:07

Thanks so much to those reporting, I cannot get the video or audio to work.
