What's the deal guys?

I don't think this post is going to last long but what's the deal with hating trans women so much? I've been a women for 13 years of my life since 18 and it's never been a problem. Suddenly I'm not only talk of the town but also an evil man stealing everyone's rights away from them? I wasn't much of a boy as a kid anyway but. I just wanted to ask like what's the deal? Why do you hate the idea of me existing so much? What have I personally done to you that's been so bad? I feel like I need to be careful with my words because it'll be easy to accuse me of all sorts but I've done no harm to anyone. If you want to ask a trans woman some honest questions then please do, I don't usually talk about it in my day to day life and that, I'm pretty down to earth and will help you understand as much as possible. But I'd like to ask the people that hate me so much, can we ever get along? Please don't assume I'm what the internet and the media says I am though, I'm not like that at all! I just want us all to get on and I'm sick of having my life debated every 5 minutes.

@onepostwonder

Where and when did you adopt your daughter?

The background checks can't have been very good if you put yourself down as a woman.

Swiss Cheese Facts.

Yet you still have your prostate checked, right? The finger up the bum (sorry to be crude) check? If you've never had it checked, you're risking your health, regardless of oestrogen use.

You would think that a transwoman, as a woman, would welcome that. You know, the archetypal expectant asshole, possibly with blank blank eyes.

Im intrigued about what TRA next move will be.

What they seem to want is single sex services to exist, but have permission to use the opposite sex services.

But, by definition, the service becomes mixed sex, and therefore not fit for purpose.

Or if the service can be mixed sex, there wouldnt be a need for it to be single sex in the first place.

A single sex service cannot exist and include both sexes.

So are they going to campaign to remove all single sex spaces? Or are they going to attempt to have services organised by gender?

Expecting logic from a movement that tries to argue that its possible to change sex is likely to end in disappointment.

So far, responses to legal clarification of the Equality Act have included: naked moob protests, breaking windows, and pouring bottles of urine over themselves.

If they knew I had transitioned there would have been no adoption, nor a marriage.

Ahhh, finally clicked what the OP reminded me of. Great song, sung by the lovely lady Ted Neeley, definitely a woman - you can tell because of the robes and long hair.

Either that or the skateboard meme.

I have none. I've never met a sex realist, so they only exist online and in small social media advertised groups of a dozen or so who travel with signs from town to town.

Believe that and you'll believe anything, even that somehow you've changed sex.

If anyone would like to fill up the thread with more fascinating backstory and very interesting and definitely plausible stories, that would be grand. Only a few pages to go!

True, but the experiences of almost half of the 99% happen to overlap with my experiences.

Also, colon was only used back then in cases of complication. As far as I know, no one ever used a partial colectomy as their primary surgery.

The only half who have who overlap with your experiences are the male sex.

It's only in the last 5-10 years that men claiming to be women have started in invading female places in noticeable numbers.
For a large % of the time, the press couldn't be arsed to report it. Women who tried to raise the issue were shouted down (remember the WiSpa case and the flack aimed at the woman who went to the desk about the man in the naked spa?)
And then it took a bit longer for lots of women to realise that it's a problem and start to make a fuss.

Honestly, I reckon that most women didn't think it a problem until the obvious cases of criminality came to light. That was certainly my view until men claiming to identify as women abused the system in Scotland and specifically in my home region of Fife.

It's a bit difficult to ignore the problems caused when you live in a small town in a small region in a small country and find a disproportionate amount of nefarious activity being enacted by men who claim that they're trans women.

I was astonished when Tiffany Scott's name was read out on the Trans Day of Remembrance - even his brother (who lives in the next village to me) had declared that Andrew Burns/Tiffany Scott was "at it". As for Peter Laing/Paris Green and Lennon/Katie Dolatowski... Words fail me.

It must be obvious to even a simpleton that these are dangerous men who are gaming the system. I mean...Come on...

Who in their right mind would believe that Andrew Burns/Obi Wan Kenobi/Mr Mighty Almighty/Mitzababy/Tiffany Scott was for real?

Oh so you LIED to authorities. And you don't think that makes you a bad person living a lie? If you need to lie, then that should tell you that you are wrong.

my post was deleted.

I probably know why but the fact that i only noticed by chance, and have had to ask mn why, is getting ridiculous. There should be a message to a zapped poster.

Mine was deleted too. Don't understand that one.

I haven't seen so many deletions in the FWR section for a while.

And yes, it would be helpful for admin to tell us, if for no other reason than that we can know what we're not allowed to say and don't inadvertently go further down the naughty-step path by saying it again.

I should imagine that your children now being adults has removed a huge amount of stress, in that case.

I can't imagine living with the fear of losing my family. Would it not have been simpler to give your legally correct information? (I'm trying to recall what the law was around 20 yrs ago.)

The only people that refer to sex changed birth certificates as 'legal fiction' in casual conversation are sex realists. That is where I was going with this.

That's right. Start backpedalling when you realise you misunderstood the fact that "legal fiction" is a well-established legal concept in the UK with wider application than birth sex. 😉

Edited for spelling

A woman, being a woman is not illegal, nor is it a lie.

I was evaluated as any other prospective adoptive mother was evaluated. Our home was evaluated to be a safe and supportive environment.
