Natasha Irons, Labour is first up to have a pop at Robbie Gibb, insinuating that he was involved in the leak to The Telegraph.

Is that the best she can do? Yes.

Gibb is similarly standing up for himself and the need for the bbc to mark its homework

Nobody ever asks left wing people in the BBC about their "impartiality", do they 🙄

It's this attitude that if someone is aligned with Labour, they have a place at the BBC, and it's so natural it shouldn't even be remarked on. But if the alignment is with the Conservatives, that's a red flag. (Maybe it should be a blue flag.)

And if you asked them to define what they mean by 'left' - there'll be a lot of stammering,because they don't know. It just means 'virtuous'. 'Right sort'.

Her line of argument is airing Goodall's grievances.

The Labour members pushed Prescott on the hidden trove of documents that he held in which he communicated with Gibb. They gave off the air of not being convinced by Prescott. How curious it is that they then didn't ask Gibb about this. Probably because they knew he'd box their ears for overreaching their powers.

Rupa Huq's questioning method reminds me of the interviewer who recetnly tried to be all nicey-nicey with Sydney Sweeney in order to get her to confess to racism. It's so mean girl & hypocritical - just say what you mean and stop being manipulative.
