Also, behind Prescott, that woman's fabulous hair!!

I'm also pretty shocked at the various MPs making statements about Trump in a Select Committee - I would have thought they'd attempt to be more diplomatic considering the tensions that exist between the US Administration and the UK Govt.

trump will
be watching ffs I’m sure! Or his lawyers

They're more bothered about the fuss caused than the actual problems

nauticant · 24/11/2025 16:47

Now it's Mr Bayo Alaba, Labour suggesting that Prescott is to blame for the damage caused.

WarriorN · 24/11/2025 16:47

And the fucking leak

Shades of Darlington. The crime wasn't doing things wrong and harming people, it was BAD PR.

The crimes are fine, it's the evil fuckers who look and tell people.

Sausagenbacon · 24/11/2025 16:50

Sorry - TLDR?

Also, the BBC can transmit any spliced stuff as long as it is truthy 🙄

Too Long Didn't Read

nauticant · 24/11/2025 16:53

I love truthy. A concept that's just right for the present age.

Sausagenbacon · 24/11/2025 16:53

God they're dumb.
How long can they go on asking the same question?

nauticant · 24/11/2025 16:54

It's been an hour and a half of him showing up the paucity of their thought and having to speak to some of them like they're children.

WarriorN · 24/11/2025 16:55

Ooh he’s now able to slag off bbc verify 💥 thanks MPs!

Sausagenbacon · 24/11/2025 16:55

YES

UtopiaPlanitia · 24/11/2025 16:55

I think Prescott is coming across as wanting to HELP the BBC rather than damage it. There are no credible gotchas to be had from the believers in a Right wing conspiracy/coup from this man or the memo.

NotThatWay · 24/11/2025 16:55

(Some of) these MPs' problem is that Prescott is cleverer than them, and knows a lot more about the workings of the BBC than them.

WarriorN · 24/11/2025 16:56

He’s pissed off now.

That's all (some of them) have got. "BBC lovely! You howwible and wight wing!!"

WarriorN · 24/11/2025 16:57

He’s right, why the fuck wasn’t there an inquest into a totally incorrect news piece that about ethnic minorities being given much higher insurance quotes

nauticant · 24/11/2025 16:57

Disappointingly Natasha Irons MP, Labour also went down the gotcha route. The CMS Committee will not be producing anything of any value.
