...above document. WRDA is one of the groups the Claimant "called out" in her speech at Let Women Speak on 16 April 2023. Inside the Manifesto is a commitment to "Transgender Women". It says:

"We believe that transgender women are women, and deserve access to the same human rights and
services as all other members of our society. High rates of hate crime, alongside hostility in our political
culture and our media, have led to worsening conditions for trans women across the UK. This hostility
is rooted in misogyny and patriarchy - addressing it will have benefits for all women, and ensure
freedom of expression and identity for all.
We call upon the elected representatives to:
 Reform the Gender Recognition Act to be based on self-declaration of gender and to provide
accessible pathways to legal gender change for non-binary individuals and trans people under
the age of 18.
 Ensure access to timely transition-related-healthcare interventions for trans women and trans
people of all genders.
 Reform gender affirming healthcare provision to depathologise trans identities in line with
WHO’s ICD11 and the WPATH standards of care, creating a model that works for NI based on
global best practice and human rights.
 Undertake a review of trans people’s ability to access mainstream healthcare services
 Develop meaningful strategies to tackle rising transphobic hate crime and abuse.
 Ensure the provision of relationships and sexuality education which includes and affirms trans
bodies, experiences and identities, while providing useful information on sexual health and
wellbeing in every school in Northern Ireland."

This just about sums the whole problem up. 🎯

So a few updates - I am not at the Tribunal.

If Professor Boyd endorses Pride because her daughter and her daughter's partner identify as lesbians does that matter?

It's not Pride. It's her link to WRDA.

I used to work for Belfast Women's Aid, had been thinking of going back as I was good at the job and enjoyed it. Cannot believe they put their name to that manifesto. Utter craven disgrace.

This seems very stretched. DB might not have been aware of all these connections

and who knows what the WRDA was like in 2019, it might not have been 'captured' at that time.

If the note from the journo came from NW, SD is right to point out that NW is not neutral when it comes to what he calls 'genderwang'.

I trust there is more to it than this!

By way of context, and remember NI is a ridiculously small place where everybody knows everybody else, there are loads of women's groups all networked with each other, and AFAIK almost all of them operate the shiny new definition of "women".

One might speculate about the causes for this, whether it's a desire to be on TRSOH, or non-binary niece syndrome, or all of these groups being government funded, or the role of ideological fanatics like Goretti Horgan setting the agenda. These are all factors IMO.

But I think that's relevant when SM says she's been targeted for calling out by name women's groups who don't represent the female sex.

The argument appears to be that a group (EWN) which is part of a consortium (WRC) which sits within the WRDA which sponsored the 2019 Manifesto is a supporter of trans ideology. And that a former director of that group (EWN) is on the panel.

And the Claimant, spoke out against that women's umbrella group (WRDA) for supporting men in women's single-sex spaces.

Does the fair minded observer need to be experienced in the ways of local society to make a fair call on the possibility of bias? Genuine question.

And so the panel member has ACTUAL bias by being a former director of this group which is under this wider umbrella of groups supporting self-id etc.
And by not drawing this to the judge and claimant's attention at the beginning of the tribunal, that is another example of bias.

And then there are the other things as listed. In the tweets above.

This would make a lot of sense if the former director had been director until three years ago...but the person who was director twenty years ago...??

NC and CE are right to be concerned at the lack of transparency around Deborah Boyd. The digital record of DBs professional life is non existent.

But she left it in 2005. She may not even have remembered. She certainly can’t be endorsing a stand they took 19 years ago later. I mean, I once voted Green.

it's really not, once you take into account that she isn't an academic and so doesn't have that kind of record
