Man who transitioned to female sues expert for discrimination after being told breastfeeding was delusional

A transgender mother who underwent medical treatment to breastfeed her newborn son is suing a breastfeeding expert who publicly dismissed her experience as a 'delusional queer theory take'.

Former Australian Breastfeeding Association volunteer counsellor Jasmine Sussex will face a Queensland tribunal next year over claims she discriminated against Brisbane transgender woman Jennifer Adrian Buckley.

The tribunal will decide if Ms Buckley was discriminated against under the Queensland Anti-Discrimination Act over a series of social media posts by Ms Sussex.

Is there no group of people these blokes won't use to validate their special status?

It's a while since I was pregnant but I remember all the things that were verboten - alcohol, soft cheese, rare steak etc. The guilt piled on by all and sundry. Then the pressure to breastfeed. I had no issues but at least one friend was almost pushed to a full on breakdown because she couldn't and felt under so much pressure. All this because medical professionals know that certain things are best for babies. Then lo! Up pops a man who favours a frock and all thoughts of baby's wellbeing goes out of the window because he wants to get his rocks off. Disgusting.

In that photo of them in the hospital, you can almost feel the narcissism oozing off him through the screen. I can't help but feel this is a very coercive relationship and if the mother has been diagnosed with MS then maybe she feels no option but to go along with this (or maybe I'm just giving her too much credit)

Amazing how open these posters that hold some type of degree in human biology as to what a man versus a woman is supposed to be. Fortunately, Ms. Buckley is located in Queensland, Australia, which has anti-discrimination laws in place, which is why she's suing and the law (unless someone in here is possibly involved with a law degree here too) recognizes her as a female since that's what we're supposed to live by. Second, YOUR OWN NHS says that they have studied this and say there's nothing wrong with it - as noted by their Certified Breastfeeding Counselors (see link below). All because as I've read and heard time and time again, there's nothing that helps mother and child bond closer than this. And I've heard countless times about how "if my husband" or "if my male partner" knew what it was like, well are people going to say how it's a male perversion to want to have that same desire? Strange how these makeshift devices are being made for men so they can have the same attachment and help bond with their baby (see link below) and also help alleviate some responsibility from mom so she can get a break, since some don't always take a bottle. Well again, gotta say "bless your heart" to all of the "open-minded" posters who are so willing to destroy an entire a group of people without knowing anything about them. People and their glass houses.

Trans Women’s Milk as Good as Breast Milk, Says NHS Trust

By the way, here is the FOI that the organisation Children of Transitioners put in and the answer.

The Sussex NHS trust clearly state that their guidance was not intended for male people.

Why has no one tested the liquid that is coming out of these men's nipples? Surely that's the first thing that should be done - to centre the child and its health? Unbelievable.

Lurker85 · 12/11/2025 07:23

If you were that bothered about feeling like a woman and being an authentic woman then you wouldn’t use your manly semen to impregnate your wife. That’s not what women do

There was one test done. It only tested for calories and other nutritional value. I believe that was on a sample that had been frozen and brought in so not verified that it was even from the male person saying it was from their body.

There has certainly not been a collection of data from a sizeable group of male people under clinically monitored and verified conditions. Yet, we are to believe that these one off tests are to be treated as statistically reliable data.

Taytoface · 12/11/2025 07:36

If this is not the point when the world goes what the actual fuck, then nothing will. The safety and dignity of women has been ignored for aeons, but newborn babies? They are the most coddled beings on the planet and are being fed untested secretions from the nipples of defective men. That is abusing babies to at best, validate the defective men, at worst, to allow them to indulge in their fetish. I suspect that only fetishistic compulsion would drive someone this far. CHECK. THE. HARD DRIVE

And yet women are blasted for daring to have a glass of wine or a cup of coffee while breastfeeding. Fucking hell.

His wife, the baby’s mother, paused her MS medication for the duration of her pregnancy to protect the baby. That’s how women behave when their child’s wellbeing is at stake.

'The first time it came out I just started leaking,' Ms Buckley said. 'Then I pumped and it was a weird feeling having a suction cap suck out milk, but it was exciting.’

Uh huh. Best I don’t say what I really want to say about this gem lest I get a strike from the mods. Suffice it to say, I felt queasy.

I would add that in my previous post, I didn't use it without consideration. I don't consider GI inherently depraved. I don't even consider transwomen who transition as a result of agp to be depraved if their public presentation is within the bounds of decency - those individuals have a right to their own internal life and personal expression, even if I find it incomprehensible or unsettling.

The act of TIMs simulating breast feeding for their own obviously erotic tinged gratification utilizing new born infants IMO reaches the threshold of depravity. It's something that society must not tolerate. I understand if my post is deleted, but I would hope that it is because it's determined that the word must not be used in any circumstances here and not because it was used incorrectly.

Yes, I am heartened that it was used and still stands. That is huge progress.

Who knows what the long term damage could be? Look at the recent news of the anti miscarriage drugs, what is has done to the daughters of those poor ladies who took the drugs 50/60 years ago.

What harm is lurking round the corner for these poor children being subjected to this?

Another recent case study.

https://link.springer.com/article/10.1186/s13006-024-00624-1

Case presentation

In this case a 37-year-old transgender woman, who was under the care of the centre of expertise on gender dysphoria in Amsterdam, and in 2020 started lactation induction because she had the wish to breastfeed her future infant. She was in a relationship with a cisgender woman and had been using gender affirming hormone therapy for 13 years. Prior to initiating gender affirming hormone therapy she had cryopreserved her semen. Her partner conceived through Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection, using our patient’s cryopreserved sperm.

To induce lactation, we implemented a hormone-regimen to mimic pregnancy, using estradiol and progesterone, and a galactogogue; domperidone. Our patient started pumping during treatment. Dosage of progesterone and estradiol were significantly decreased approximately one month before childbirth to mimic delivery and pumping was increased.

Our patient started lactating and although the production of milk was low, it was sufficient for supplementary feeding and a positive experience for our patient.

Two weeks after birth, lactation induction was discontinued due to suckling problems of the infant and low milk production.
Conclusions

This case report underlined that lactation induction protocols commonly used for cisgender women are also effective in transgender women. However, the amount of milk produced may not be sufficient for exclusive nursing.

Nevertheless, success of induced lactation may be attributed to its importance for parent-infant bonding, rather than the possibility of exclusive chestfeeding.

Giving him hormones to ‘mimic pregnancy’ in a male body - can they not hear themselves?

I am reminded of the men who are taking full advantage of this fetish enabling and openly tout for other people’s babies to ‘breastfeed’ with no fear of prosecution. Procuring a baby for a man’s sexual fetish used to be frowned upon.

It's all part of AGP. Wanting to imitate women's anatomy, and their biological experiences, for sexual gratification.

Some of these men will stop at absolutely nothing.

I'm reminded of the man who wanted to experience still birth and the women who, apparently, lent him their baby, so he could pretend.

I really hope public opinion has changed enough that if this does go to court, they will see through an ideology that, in my opinion, has been deliberately made up to hide a whole raft of male sexual fetishes.

The photo of the South American male model simulating breastfeeding for modelling shoot has been floating around twitter again over the past week. Has anyone got a link to it please?

It shows the low bar for care of infants that some people have. how they have no hesitation in using infants as props at all.

Trans Women’s Milk as Good as Breast Milk, Says NHS Trust

male breastfeeding device

You’ve misinterpreted that article because it doesn’t actually conclude that transmilk is as good as breast milk.

lactation in transgender women, emphasizing that “human milk is neutral and ideal for infants.” As mentioned above, they cite the 2022 study which suggests comparable hormone levels and thus assumed safety.

The key words being here ‘suggests’ and ‘assumed’. That alone rubbishes the claim that the both milks are on par.

Which brings me back to the incredulity of allowing this to occur when for example you can’t even get medicine for reflux without begging and pleading because most of it hasn’t been tested for safety.

Females aren’t required to study for a degree in human biology. A woman already knows what being a woman is.

We were born female.

And gosh.... imagine a woman knowing about breast development and what happens in our bodies when we breastfeed.

But a man feels absolutely confident that he knows better because he read about a letter that someone from one NHS (were they ever named) wrote that referred to poor quality research about male breast secretions as a justification for guidance that the Trust then denied was ever intended to be guidance for male people.

The post really ends up being just another male person attempting to belittle and berate women.

Honestly there needs to be lobbying in this area before policies are enacted which result in this being mainstream. I’m aghast. Thank you op for this post. It’s been eye opener.

'The first time it came out I just started leaking,' Ms Buckley said. 'Then I pumped and it was a weird feeling having a suction cap suck out milk, but it was exciting.’

Yes I bet it was. We see you lactation fetishist. The ultimate validation for a bloke who wants to think he is a woman. Poor little baby. And no, it is not an excuse that the partner had a medical emergency that prevented breastfeeding. Note to pervy one: formula milk is at least known to be safe, unlike whatever hormone impregnated liquid he is forcing on the baby.

SinnerBoy · 12/11/2025 14:27

Apart from the fact that domperidone metabolites are known to have adverse cardiac effects on babies... women using it to bring on lactation are supposed to avoid feeding until they've been off it for a week.

... And yet, men need more than double the dose, to produce a small quantity of goop, which contains too much fat. We all know that babies need MORE fat. Right kids?

And that's before we even consider that he was taking androgen suppressants, what effect will that have on his baby boy? Does he even give a toss about it?

SoftBalletShoes · 12/11/2025 14:44

The red-hot hate on here is just 😱. Transpeople have always existed and they are not all pervs, like posters on here would have it. Natural-born women's milk is full of hormones too, by the way. Anyway, it looks like he/she couldn't produce enough, so it's a moot point. I'm sure the baby will be deeply loved by both. This is a storm in a teacup, fuelled by hate and prejudice, imo.

Maybe you should stop spreading so much misinformation.

Please tell us in which cultures that were not homophobic or inherently sexist did the transgender people you refer to 'always exist as transgender people'?

And please read the research that has been presented. Female people have natural hormones that allow the infant to utilise any interaction there is and that is well established for millennia. Any new chemicals for female people have been carefully evaluated before they are approved.

Your posts seem very poorly informed. Perhaps you can tell us exactly what are the benefits that you see for these infants that outweighs the many risks that are present in feeding an infant with an untested substance in a situation that may be considered child abuse?

Helleofabore · 12/11/2025 15:09

I think it becomes clear also in reading some posts from those supporting males feeding infants the secretion from their nipples, that perhaps they don't recognise boundaries that should be observed to protect children.

Numbersguy told women on the M&S bra thread that there is no issue at all that a male member of staff approached a female child in the bra department. Now on this threat, it is apparently appropriate for a group of male people to validate their own needs ahead of those infant's needs. And those supporting those male people cannot understand the boundaries of the child that are being ignored.

When people cannot see these boundary violations, it is children who suffer.

What benefit is there for infants to be fed an untested substance that when looking at the case studies is barely enough after the first week or so and may have significant future negative ramifications?

🤔

It’s such a shame that there needs to be forums such as this one.
But, here we are. So tough.

Breast milk, being natural, adapts to the changing needs of the infant.

Artificially created secretions from a man’s chest will never emulate what Mother Nature endowed natural women.

I’m actually more furious with the natural-born women that attempt to bully non-believers into accepting these pervs.

They can have them.
They can give away their rights.

I assure you, I will not.
