No arrests so far...

Julie Bindel (@bindelj) on X

Look at them - police don't seem to arrest these men - too busy locking people up for misgendering:

Has that dopey Sian Berry woman never heard of Jo Cox? Or David Amess? Or does she think that only the wrong sort of politicians attract violent irrational radicalised nutters?

Ereshkigalangcleg · 10/10/2025 18:33

She’s more vile than dopey. She’s well aware of what TRAs do.

Yellowhollyhocks · 10/10/2025 18:36

If I was Sian Berry's boss, I'd fire her.
Shocked that an MP would publicly say what she did and all the hidden meaning behind it.

I believe OP @SingleSexSpacesInSchools is currently attempting to get her to support the rights of teenage girls in her constituency.

Yes, and she's failing to do her job there too.

Given Sian's failure to represent constituents and do her job and her support for acts designed to terrorise legal, legitimate gatherings of women, she really should be sacked.

When it comes to hate crimes, apparently all that's needed is 'offense' I'm sure there are plenty of women with protected characteristics who will be offended by her comments blaming them for peacefully participating in Filia. Maybe a report to police is in order.

Hopefully Wes will be leader soon so he can get rid of her.

PrizedPickledPopcorn · 10/10/2025 18:46

Lots of follows, no likes. Barely any support. How odd, it’s almost as though people think they’ve behaved badly.

Sian Berry (local MP) has also commented. Blaming the victims.

I'm shocked that I'm not shocked. 'Look what you made me do!', that's the language of an abuser.

She’s Green Party, so it’s Zack Polanski 😬

Well that explains a lot. Smashing things is so environmentally friendly (extreme sarcasm alert).

Nonetheless I hope women who were offended and alarmed by her call to violence against them will report to police. MPs should be held to a higher standard. If Glinner can be arrested for his tweet, she can be for this - much more clearly directed at real people than his.

These blokes need jail time,

Good old ‘men can’t control themselves, women are responsible for men’s actions’

ChelseaBagger · 10/10/2025 19:02

I think everyone's got the wrong end of the stick here.

What I think really happened is that a group of Beautiful Laydees💅 were caught short in town late in the evening, and whilst knocking gently on the windows, politely calling out "we just want to peeeee!", they accidentally smashed the whole place up.

That is a shocker of a post. Sian Berry must be truly deep in a hole that she thought that was in any way appropriate.

I am quite enjoying the 35 thousand views and the...erm...16 likes though 🤣.

SafeSex · 10/10/2025 19:06

...thus demonstrating perfectly why this women-only meeting was necessary.

lcakethereforeIam · 10/10/2025 19:11

Is Filia women only? I think some of the events are but anyone can buy a ticket, even TiM. They'd have to sit out the 'women only' stuff, to which TiF could probably go, but if they behave themselves they'd be fine.

I willing to be corrected though. I've never actually attended one of their conferences.

notathenabutcassandra · 10/10/2025 19:37

FrankieCranky · 10/10/2025 11:53

I’ve just bought a solidarity ticket to FiLiA. If anyone has any spare cash it is a way of showing that we will not be cowed by this violence. One year maybe I’ll be able to attend.

Great idea, just did the same. Thanks @FrankieCranky

Pollqueen · 10/10/2025 19:41

Well, keep pandering to the men in frocks and this is what you get. No sympathy for Brighton & Hove CC

Ereshkigalangcleg · 10/10/2025 21:39

Also from Julie, explains more about Sian Berry’s previous awfulness https://unherd.com/2025/10/the-green-partys-war-on-women/

I don't know why they think violence and threats will get them what they want. It makes no sense.

They want to do it
They feel entitled to
They enjoy it
The media normally looks the other way
They think frightening women will get them their own way.

Imnobody4 · 11/10/2025 00:09

Report from Sanchez Manning

A council refused to grant a legal order shielding a feminist organisation from antisocial behaviour hours after trans activists smashed up its conference venue.

And it works. Men violently intimidating women has a track record of success.

Brighton police are allowing TRAs to block the entrance to FiLiA2025 and intimidated woman coming to talk about male violence. Kind of proves our point really. Sisterhood Solidarity

Not to mention the absolute capacity issues of any MP living at this point in history and parliament who fails to be clearly condemning of politically motivated violence and destruction.

Farage really needn't bother getting out bed at this point, the left parties are running the campaign for him.

Edited

The left parties are running the campaign for him cannot be said enough. Maybe the penny has dropped for Starmer sidelining the ‘progessives’ in the Labour Party but this absolutely determined refusal to connect the dots by the left and the likes of Sian Berry is handing political power to Farage. To the detriment of everyone.
