MK - Jan 25 sign went up to lock outer door. Last week, hard to explain. Have to go through outer door to get to cupboard and loos. The sign and lock are now on

What’s the reasoning for locking the external door of the Secret Squirrel toilets? That’s a whole extra loo unavailable to women.

How interesting that last week the Respondents moved around the locks, the poster and the signage on the secret toilets. Oh dear.

Presumably so her employer can say to the tribunal "look we gave her a fully enclosed lockable toilet and she still won't stop bloody whinging" as they roll their eyes and cock their head to one side.

I'm just fuming that again a woman has to discuss periods and menstrual flooding etc just to ask that an employer complies with the law.

Do we know what the poster on the secret toilets said?

Just to clarify, the secret toilet which was previously female has been made into mix sex toilet, which means the company couldn't even allow women once single female only toilet?

And what, if anything, Leonardo would have done/will do if a trans identifying male used/uses it.

Am I right in thinking though that the EHRC said that this still might not be adequate?

Too right.

I think, having looked through TT, that the poster was directing the user to lock the door. It was originally on the outer door that gave access to the toilets and the cleaners' cupboard (so the cleaners would be locked out while the toilet was in use) and then was moved to the inner door that gave access to two cubicles (thus creating a single occupancy space but halving the number of available toilets).

Look at the hoops all the women have to jump through for these entitled men!
Made even more galling since they are breaking the bloody law.
