Quite. Retina-searing brightness, and somehow "dark mode" is even worse! And you can't change the colours in dark mode either.
Anyone got some sunglasses they can lend me?

The brighter blue writing gives less contrast with the white background, so reading is harder. Anyone with vision issues will really find it difficult.

I’ve changed mine to blue and green (although the green is barely visible) and I’ll see how I go.

But it also now INCREDIBLY slow. Is that just me?

Green may never be wrong but it is a pathetic excuse for Green. And it’s all slow.

Just to rub salt in the wound. I had to manually clear the message box after my last two posts on different threads. Including this one!!

I’ve just tried dark mode for the first time. It is easier on the eye but I don’t like it. Feels like I’m in some sort of teenage chat den.

How did you get your original colours back, Marie? There are no options for lilac/purple or real green on my settings, only cr!ppy washed-out colours.

I can’t cope with it it’s giving me a migraine. And I’ve turned down the brightness on the phone but everywhere else is dark but mn is horrible.

I tried dark mode and I might have to go back to it.

I'm guessing you are all MNing on your phones? I'm on my laptop, and the colours haven't changed.

I tend to use the app if I’m just randomly scrolling somewhere, but always use the mobile website if I’m setting into the Blue Stocking. Mainly because I couldn’t react via the app. Although the app now seems to have the thanks option, which it didn’t used to have.

well, I suppose you could hobble along half shod, and indeed Myrtle is presumably wearing only one of a pair.
And a pirate might only use eyeshadow etc on one eye if sporting a patch. But surely to goodness no one only uses lipstick on one lip?

I am definitely on the pro-Marmite side, and also like Marmite with peanut butter. Not that anybody cares as that discussion finished six pages ago and I can't be arsed to read back and find out what's happened since. I hope nothing dreadful has happened to anybody, and now will feel completely vile for saying that if it has. I'm sorry in advance.
